IH-555-xx - Super Slim Jean
-
So would this be like the 25 oz where it starts as a store version but ends up as a regular version? And what kind of "super slim" are we talking about here in relation to the other slims? If the 666 is the Devil's Fit would the 555 be the Downstairs Neighbor of the Devil's Fit?
I gave Tom a verbal design and for the life of me I can't remember what opening I specced, but it should be significantly narrower than the 666S.
Part of the reason we went with 555 is that it looks like SSS - Super Slim Selvedge

Hi Guys, I'm Vincent from TDV
Thanks for the vote,
The reason why Giles and me making this jeans are,
Because most of people in Indonesia still like skinny cut jeans. They used to wear Nudie, April77, Ksubi and any other modern jeans around.
So we think about making our own slim jean. We believe we have taken the best parts of some of our favorite cuts and combined them into what i hope will be the ultimate slim cut
And maybe this jeans can be transition for them, who wants to try Japanese Jeans/Selvage/Heavy weight but still love their skinny cut.
And this 21oz fabric is very comfortable, even in skinny cut. It's not hot at all, it's very comfortable.
And at first I want the name is 911s, but Giles think it will reminds some guys about the 9-11
So he choose 555 from "SSS", which means Super Slim Selvage.
Which brilliant
And spoiler for the leather patch, we'll use snake as the icon for this jeans. -
So you're looking for a 301s w/ a slimmer top block it sounds like… and selvedge seems at the hem which should make 301 fans happy.
Nope. Think top block of 666S but with slightly higher rise and more girth in the hip (this is wear the 666 is tight), then slimmer than the 666S from the knee down
-
why 911s btw.?

doesn´t sound that skinny to me (when chosen the right size!)…
-
higher rise is good, indifferent to the girth but that might change, slimmer from knee down undecided at the moment.
thanks for the back story vinnie & gile$
oh & you are right seul, don't you always size down a few

i got big calves, my 666s & 9301s kind of hug them a bit, depending on how slim might be the deciding factor for me. what really matters is when these get the green light & hit production, just might be bigger than when the buster's dropped & that was huge (at least for me)

Gahh hope people like me with thunder thighs can fit our own size, instead of having to go up a size or 2
