G, any news on your M-43 liner?

Hey Giles - Iron Oxide reacts with certain natural chemicals to turn black. We've used it in our own denim for Story with myroblan flowers (on top of indigo dyed denim) and the results are super. My black jeans fade to indigo, then ecru which feels very gentle.
We've also done it with Kakishibu (this may be more up your alley) and it's worked well. The only downside is the smell with kakishibu - though I understand you can get some now where it's been removed.
Let me know if I can help otherwise. Natural black is a rare but beautiful thing and we aren't greedy at all about sharing.

@tmg:
I'm going to bring this up again. I know a few others have mentioned it too. Moleskin. The stuff is seriously tough, holds up to heavy abuse and ages beautifully. I would buy an 816 cut in charcoal, chocolate and a dark camel. I think these would sell. Perfect work pants in colors that aren't currently offered. Haraki's take on heavy moleskin would be amazing.
100% agree, back this, and the suggested colours [emoji3]
A clean (ie no buckle) moleskin type 1 or 2 would be incredible

A pair of 634s in fade to grey, heavy denim.
I would also like to see a return of the 9634 jeans with a button fly, but I managed to hunt down two pairs recently so I should be ok for a few years.

Nope. This, but in the 634 cut: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-555-03.html

I've always really loved the ihsh26 and it confuses me as to why it wasn't a more popular piece. Sort of in the spirit of the 26 I would really love to see a tw short sleeve chambray styled after a vintage usn chambray shirt with dark buttons. That would be an instant purchase for me.
