Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

I'd love to see a 14-15 oz version of the 21 oz denim. Something with the same loose weave AND ruggedness (and comfort), but in a lighter weight. Could be slubby or smooth and regular, sanforized or unsanforized, as long as it had the durability and breathability of the 21 oz. Would be the perfect summer denim.

I think an IHV-05 in a different non-wool fabric would be a versatile option to have around. I know I certainly need another! I wear mine year-round…
The IHV-05 has the best side pocket design, it's long enough to wear with an untucked tee or IHSH/IHSW, and the two way zipper is PERFECTLY useful for a vest in this application. I don't know why people didn't buy more of them when they were in the shop. Maybe they just didn't know what they were missing!
I would ideally like it to have it modified with a deeper "v" neckline in the front, where the zipper doesn't finish so high up the chest when fully zipped. But it is definitely an under-valued pattern that should be given another chance in a different fabric or color.

100% A flagship lighter denim with the same ethos of the 21, although I suspect this is not straightforward.

I would like a duck western or work shacket with big copper snaps like on the last melton!! Maybe even with a red or black quilt lining.

There is a 14oz denim being released, I have talked extensively about it on the forum.. The cuts I am initially doing are 777S-14, 666S-14 and 634S-14. At least one of those will be available in Jan. We have enough denim on hand to make 600 pairs in the first run…
I thought I remember seeing something about it but I couldn't find any posts about it. Any idea what the denim will be like? Loose/tight weave, sanforized/unsanforized, etc?

@Giles , were the blanket lined rider's jackets slow sellers? There seems to be little info and pictures of them, would a re-run in brown duck with primaloft lining be something you'd consider?
-
Bummer. A lined rider's jacket is a neat idea, but obviously would have to convince more people of that :-\
-
+1 @BULLITT BEE 's idea for a prima-loft duck rider. although I would never be able to afford it, I think a Navy Duck Rider with venting and cuff detail from the IHSH-75, Prima-Loft Body and UHF Lined Sleeves would be the ultimate in bad@$$ comfort. Easily pliable and warm as all get out. Throw some parafin coating on it and let it ride!

@Appfaff , I like your thinking. Sounds like a nice toasty jacket for long rides!
Though I'd rather have it in brown or black duck… one can always dream!
