I forgot to mention, for the braviest, you can put a little something in the glasse before adding la chèvre, like some special spirit from here also, the "Génépi" is the better solution, it's made from herbs from the mountains around here.
-
Yes you never know if it explodes or not, there is still 10 bars of pressure for now.
It's also practical for opening the tap.

@gouki74 Can you show us a picture of the finished product and how does it taste or could you describe it for us (your recipe)? It is something I am completely unfamiliar with but I am highly intrigued as to how it tastes.
Do you drink it as an aperitif/digestif or as an occasional drink shared with company?

@goosehd Please come here and it will be with a great pleasure you'll taste it after a good cheese meal
It's something which must be shared after a meal with everyone who want it
The recipe has to be different if you include the childrensHere's the final product:
For the taste it has, it's hard to describe, it has necessarily a taste of apple but depending of the spirit you had cause i like it sweet but hard at the same time, here's my recipe for a 10L barrel so you will guess the flavour mix with the apple:
7L of fresh apple juice
50cl of rhum
Some sugar
Some vanilla extract
Some rice cream (to have a compact mousse)
A little bit of caramel
A little bit of baking soda (not mandatory but it helps for the digestion)Yes @WhiskeySandwich it's in the cave, we call it "le carnotzet" here, a place to share food a drinks, have good times with family and friends:
For the dispenser, I bought it with the bottle, it's a 3L, very practical for the cocktails
-
@gouki74 wow, thats awesome, I'd love to have a spot like that. and that looks like a super handy dispenser!

Sure it is a great thing to have if you like cocktails with rum

@gouki74 One day I'll come along to see your cave. Actually I really miss France. In a way, a summer is only a summer if I've been to France. And this year I was only at Disney Paris (which is NOT France, french though). Anyway, will come along, and then I want to try that stuff.

@endo ahah la chèvre is better when the weather is cold outside
You're right for Paris, there is Paris and the others which are called "la Province"... it doesn't matter because "ici c'est la Haute Savoie" -

Yes they are some nice place too
Have you ever been to "le Pays Basque"? It's surely the only place in France that would make me leave "La Haute Savoie". -
@endo it managed to keep the wild side inland even if it became touristy and it has the ocean where in our side we have the "lac leman". it is surely less expensive to live there also.
But here it's priceless, i live at 5mins of the lake and 10 far from the mountains so many activities are possible all year long even if there is more and more persons who want to live here because of the possibilities of jobs in Switzerland. -

right, the ocean nearby is wonderful, but the mountains also
Clearly, "La chaîne des Pyrénées" is really beautiful
