IH-9526V - 21oz Non-Fade Denim Type III Vest - Superblack

@Bluegrass thanks for the motivation. I got mine out for the first time today. Bought it in the summer but not worn it yet, thanks in no small part to my wife's reaction to it! Decided to keep the vest (and the wife), and your post made me decide "today is the day".

I like that. I'm not badass enough to pull it off but I like it nonetheless.

Thanks Guys - this had been on my "want" list since 2010, so it was great to be able to get into one.

Gave my vest a cold soak and line dry over the weekend.
Yep, it's still Super Black!
One of my favorite details is how cleanly the placket is sewn:
Only "Evo" is a bit of color lightening around the edge of the collar:

@Bluegrass a soak definitely brought the black coloring back out in it once all the dust and junk got cleaned off - the collar was a bit faded anyways before the soak, so I figured it would stay as such once it dried. Not an issue for me though, im sure it's just from abrasion from being folded back and running on the inside of jackets and stuff.

Super nice super black. I barely feel badass enough to wear my riders jacket much less this vest but it does look cool.

@Anesthetist it brings out the inner bad-ass in all of us!

@Anesthetist - it makes me feel badass when i'm doing laundry!

Just looking, is it right that the XL and XXL are the same P2P on the chart? 23.2"? If so, cool. If not, glad I could help.

When I first saw this vest, I figured it was a "novelty" item, only be be truly utilitarian for motorcyclists. After seeing my brother (formulapfaff) wear his for 2+ years, I realized how many configurations you can make with the 9526V.
I'm continually surprised about how truly utilitarian this beat is for me, and I enjoy wearing it everytime I put it on. Weather it's over an heavy shirt with jeans or paired with trainers at work, the best just seems to always "work" for me.
