Where does everyone live?

neph93, thank you. Iron Heart gets talked about so often on the internet that I no longer remember where or how I came across it. But glad I did.
I guess the jungle telegraph has picked up a bit in the last few years. There was a point a few years ago when IH and the other Japanese outfits were considered “secret brands”. Nice to have you on board.

New guy here to the forum and ironheart. From N.C. I’ve had rrl, n&f, 3sixteen, Raleigh denim in the past but recently lost enough weight to need to redo my casual wardrobe. Been a very expensive month. Picked up Corduroy III ivory (IHJ-69), 301s 21oz, ombré check in both gray(IHSH-195) and brick (IHSH-195). Waiting on 19oz typeIII (IH-526L-V2) and 8301 SBG to show up in the mail also. Couple quick pics I had.

Quality over quantity , although preferably quality and quantity. I’ve been wearing Alden and Allen Edmonds for years, No issue spending more to get top quality. And with a community this good the brand choice was easy.

I'm new here y'all. I live in Frederick, Maryland, USA. I hope this is a good part of the forum to introduce myself. I am in my 6th year teaching Visual Art at a middle school in town, teaching mostly drawing and painting to 7th and 8th graders. I love the outdoors and nature when I'm not at work, on a couch or partying with my buddays. I have most of my body tattooed, from my head to my toes and have been working on a tattoo bodysuit for 15 years. Currently I am working on a large back piece from my shoulders to my buttcheeks. I am 32 years old and have already burned through one terrifyingly awful marriage. Heavy metal, stone, doom, grindcore, deathcore and classic rock are a few of my favorite types of music. I drink a lot of beer and whiskey but don't usually buy the fancy stuff.
I fell into the raw denim rabbit hole a little over a year ago. After initial interest in Naked and Famous and 3Sixteen, Iron Heart is where I have landed and Iron Heart is where I will remain. Currently fading N&F 32oz, IH555XHSIB, IHJ101, IHxSE Type III BSP-14, IHSH-110 and IHSH-140. I like to wear Carhartt J140 in the winter.
This forum is super rad and I look forward to looking at your fade evolution photos and posting fades of my own.

Thanks for the introduction. When I started getting into workwear, I also bounced around until I found Iron Heart. This Forum is just another reason to love this brand. I think you'll also find that the Crew is some of the best ever and will go above and beyond when helping you with Iron Heart gear. P.S. are those the 25oz black/blue XHSIB jeans you're wearing in the above pic? They look awesome!

Love my IH-888s in the winter here in Chicago! I bought them from Self Edge in Los Angeles in April 2018.

I've been wearing IH-777S-21 for a few months now, and an IH-101J jacket.
Very eager to get my hands on an XHS pair of jeans one of these days!

Welcome! If you’ve had eyes in the place for a while then you know where to come for info on the XHS. It is wonderful, wonderful denim.

Hi everyone!
I just joined the Iron Heart community very recently with buying my first Iron Heart Denim Jacket from Self Edge in NYC (23oz Type III overdyed). I am 31 years old and originally from Germany. The last few years I lived in Berlin. Making use of my employer's "Global Mobility Program" I've moved to Manhattan in April. Since several years "well-made" clothing became a major hobby besides motorbiking. It started with a pair of denim jeans from Rogue Territory, followed by a pair of Blaumann (Denim jeans made in Germany). My love for well made stuff extended to jackets when I saw my first Aero Leathers jacket. Aero jacket #3 is currently in the making.
Since years I was searching for a denim jacket that fits my torso (6.6 tall and athletic). I tried several jackets from 3Sixteen, Pure Blue Japan, Sugar Cane to name a few. Unfortunately, always without success. This weekend I more or less accidentally passed by Self Edge. I’ve read about the store before but never made it in. Without real hope to finally solve my „problem“ I stopped and walked in. While browsing through the denim jackets on their rack my attention was grabbed by a dark, hefty feeling jacket (I guess I’m biased by my CXL jackets). I first tried a 44 which already raised my hopes to finally find a jacket that fits. Unfortunately not perfect and still a little short in the arms. I tried a 46 - the jacket was not significantly wider in the body, but arm and body length were spot on for my personal taste. I learned I was looking at an Iron Heart jacket. Of course Iron Heart was not new to me as a brand, but I didn’t know that they are inspired by motorcycle gear and thus come with longer arms than other jackets (also about 2 inch).
That was exactly what I needed!Nick, the salesman in the store, congratulated me that I fell in love with the most expensive denim jacket in the store and honestly, I am still in shock that a denim jacket could cost more than USD 500, but from what I heard, Iron Heart is worth it.
Sorry for my lengthy intro - Looking forward to be part of this forum!

Never be sorry about posting, and certainly not quality posts like this one. Great jacket, Alex. Great fit.
