The Flat Head’s take on the classic “Grizzly” jacket is a rough and tough amalgamation of British mouton and European horsehide leather. The collar, body, and back panel all feature black mouton trimmings. The inside is lined with red rayon. The 1.3mm horsehide has a luxurious sheen and a suppleness that will break in quickly. A rugged update to a 30s-era jacket expertly done The Flat Head way.

Mister Freedom Lot. 674 "Groovy" Cone Denim Jeans - Relaxed Tapered
The Lot. 674 “Groovy Edition” from Mister Freedom is a rare gem indeed. The denim used here is a deadstock 14oz selvedge from the once-shuttered Cone Denim Mills. The fabric is the last of its kind from before the mill closed its doors in 2017 and it's been put to tremendous use here on Mister Freedom’s mid-rise, relaxed tapers. It’s the slimmest cut the brand offers but it’s still shot through with plenty of that ‘50s-era sense of style.
Mister Freedom "Frontier Ed" Ranch Blouse
This is a cropped and boxy A-1 style jacket that calls on new old stock (NOS) American duck canvas. The copper coloured fabric will acquire some immediate patina after its initial soak, as the highs and lows of the canvas really begin to shine through. The Ranch Jacket is chock full of classic design flourishes, too – from the pleated and darted plackets, to the rounded corduroy collar, to the buckle back design.

Samurai S520XX 21oz Cho-Kiwami Jeans - Relaxed Tapered
Samurai’s “Cho-Kiwami” jeans take the Osaka brand’s obsession with denim to soaring new heights. This 21oz denim is woven on wooden shuttle looms - a practice that would be nigh on impossible in less capable hands. They come in a mid-to-high rise, a relaxed tapered fit. The denim itself has a red and silver lamé selvedge ID as well as tonal arcuate stitching that is almost invisible at first but will reveal itself with wear.
Samurai Heavyweight Flannels
Two heavyweight and impressively textured work shirt style flannels from Samurai. One in an Indigo/Green check, the other in an Indigo/White Ombré check. Both flannels feature indigo cotton yarns that have been rope dyed. This technique coats the surface of the cotton yarn in a deep indigo but leaves the core white. They come unbrushed and both will fade nicely with washing and wear due to the indigo in their patterns.

These new overshirts from Iron Heart are a moleskin clad mashup of the brand’s Western and CPO styles. They feature Western style yokes, handwarmer pockets, and hefty antique brass snaps. Studio D'Artisan Sumi Ink Dyed Western Shirt
A slim but drapey Western shirt that calls on an 8oz, Sumi-dyed cotton sateen. Sumi ink is traditionally used in Japanese calligraphy. The creation of the ink is the result of a slow and methodical mixing of pinewood and perfumes which are then left to ferment and set solid before being broken down again for dyeing. It takes years, but the result is a soft shirt with some lovely faded charcoal qualities. Finished with classic Western detailing and Mother of Pearl snap buttons.
Studio D’Artisan 14oz Denim Western & Work Shirt
Two great shirts cut from Studio D’Artisan’s in-house developed, pure indigo dyed 14oz selvedge denim. One is a Western style shirt with the associated yoke trimmings and Mother of Pearl snap buttons, the other is a work shirt with a touch more room in the body and arms, two worker-style chest pockets, and gusseted side seams with a chain stitch runoff. “Santa Cruz” is a Relaxed Tapered jean in a 14oz sanforized selvedge denim, custom woven in Okayama for Stevenson Overall Co. In addition to a great fit and textured fabric, the Santa Cruz possesses some outstanding needlework. The pockets and belt loops are hand-cut and shaped before being single-needle stitched. The waist seams and fly seam also use the same single-needle method. The back pockets have decorative yet subtle stitching accents. We have these in Indigo and Black.

Viberg’s new Service Boot calls on a tough but lustrous T.Moro horsebutt from Tuscany’s Maryam tannery. It’s a full-grain leather that has been given a unique TPR (thermoplastic resin) coating for an added layer of weather protection and high shine. Fine Creek Leathers’ Eric Jacket now comes in an extra supple, 1.3mm Shinki horsehide. The leather has undergone a special "teacore" tanning process to create a hide with matte, smoky blacks that will give way to notes of dusty brown in any high-wear areas. The pineapple has long been a symbol of hospitality, luxury, and exoticism. The fruit’s relative scarcity back in the day made it a grand gesture reserved for the most cherished guests. It’s made numerous appearances in art and architecture throughout the centuries, too. In London alone, you’re likely to find pineapples adorning everything from railings to national landmarks.
Over time, the humble pineapple has come to represent opulence, generosity, and most importantly, the celebration of good company. We thought that made this illustrious fruit a fun and fitting metaphor and perfect for a Rivet & Hide collaboration.
Both Hospitality Pendants are cast and hand finished in Good Art’s LA foundry using .925 sterling silver. They've turned out beautifully; each of the pineapples' leaves and fruit is polished for that added shimmer and sparkle. They’re made to fit most of the Good Art necklaces that we carry, and they come in two sizes. The smaller size is solid-cast sterling silver. The larger of the two has a screw-top design with an extendable (and removable) spoon. Both are finished with commemorative Rivet & Hide and Good Art etchings on the base.

Iron Heart 9oz Selvedge Ombré Check Work Shirts
Iron Heart’s new 9oz Ombré Flannel Work Shirts weigh in a little lighter than their winter ultra heavy counterparts and come unbrushed for added structure. The unique gradations of the check patterns are achieved through a blend of dyeing techniques. The darkest shades of the check pattern are rope-dyed indigo while the lighter hues are sulphur-dyed. Both will age and fade in different ways at different speeds. Iron Heart’s Work Shirt fit is regular, with a little more room in the body than their Western shirts. These new and improved “RF” or “Refined” Moonstar sneakers call on a cotton-nylon canvas for even greater strength and abrasion resistance.
