Samurai Jeans

Shops you could/should buy from:
BiG (support your local dealer)
DC4 (easy communication, nice dudes)
2ND (biggest stock of Samurai jeans, no English though, communication via google translator)
Kaizoku Pirates (good communication in English, often discounted shipping, contact Yuichi if you prefer raw) -
Blue In Green should be your first choice. Great selection, no hassle with shipping or customs and Gordon is absolutely wonderful to deal with. I strongly recommend you go this route. I think you'll be happy with the results.

Cheers for the nice comments guys! I'm loving the fit It's probably my favourite cut I've owned so far, I'm also a big fan of the coloured arcs on these, I don't know why but they have really grown on me since I first pre-ordered and when I got to see them in person and all the different details I just absolutely love them
Oh and I say BIG is the way to go depending on wether they have what your looking for or not obviously, customs charges from Japan to me (in the UK) have been far more expensive than a package from the US
And as for the red tab, I recently traded the pair of S5000VX I got from BIG with another forum member here and they had the red tab.
Hope that helps

If BiG doesn't have the specific model you want, email Gordon and see if he can get it for you. I know he's willing to track down things they don't have in stock. Sometimes even things that are supposed to be only released in Japan.

^ again, as was said many times, email gordon about your… concern, and i am sure you will be more than pleased once you hear back from him. He is amazing to deal with!

I've been more than satisfied– surprised, even-- by the Samurai's I've purchased from Blue in Green. If you live in the states, there is simply no reason at all to shop elsewhere.

answered you already on Sufu. It was a special denim only released once in this cut (so far)

I think most of us agree with with MikeC
@nerkg: you might like the S001JP-F? The cut is fuller (similar to the S5000) but uses 100% wool weft instead of the paper the 003-A uses
-
well…both are 17oz denim. the warp is similar just the weft is really different. The only worn in pair of the S003JP-A belong to saintkeat who had 4 or 5 crotch blow outs (but he bikes A LOT). In terms of fading...puh...hard to predict
