Samurai Jeans

I think that's a good evaluation Seul. I can agree with that. Bertoni, like most everyone said, there is plenty of stretch to the denim. I can honestly still get in my size 30 s710xx because of this, but just don't care for that slim of a fit in this cut/denim. Not what it was intended to be. I realize my build is different but just giving you an idea of how much stretch there really is if needed

I wear 36 in everything and I find the top block of my Lot 14 710s a bit small. I keep waiting for them to stretch more, but it doesn't seem to happen. The waist is a bit small and they pinch in the groin-al region.
I'm sure I'm the anomaly, though, because between this thread and the thread on SuFu, everyone seems to have good luck with the 710 - that's why I bought them. Well, that and Max's sick fadezzzzz.

Thanks for the fit pic and info Tatman, much appreciated. I guess i'll be finding out for myself soon enough. Got a good deal on some lot 15s…fingers crossed they're what I've been looking for! I had some w36 od Busters but found them too big. Seem to be a true 34 and was told to go tts on the 710.
@zwer...maybe your packet is simply too big? -
I went with my gut last night and threw mine back in for one last hot machine soak, just had a feeling they were not shrunk down completely. Still just a bit damp but right now looking like it made a significant difference and was worth the effort. I'll do a revised pic this evening when I get back home. Waist and top box tightened up a bit and lost another 1/4 inch on the inseam. For once I don't consider that a bad thing. Gordon hooked me up with a pair that was over 40" raw and was actually a touch long for my tastes… Never ever thought I'd say those words

Good luck, TMT. I'm sure they'll be great.
I decided to wear mine today and after walking to work I am giving up. They're for sale. Lot 14, size 36. Hemmed to 34.5"

Does anyone know if take 5 takes orders internationally? I was specifically looking for the take 5 x samurai s710xx 21 oz. If they are still available. Any help would be appreciated .
-
yes they do! we all got our Denime contest jeans from them 5 years ago.
just write them an email and you should be able to sort the things out -
Awesome, I sent an email earlier this morning. Hope I can pick up a pair of those and put them in the "to-do" pile. The pair posted over on Sufu a few days ago really caught my attention

If you do need any help with a Hong Kong proxy or simply ''eyes on the ground'', I'm happy to lend a hand.

Thanks guys, got a hold of them and that particular collab is sold out already. But at least now I know in the future if something grabs my eye it is a possibility. The one thing I don't like is that they are relying on FB for their online storefront right now. I don't do FB, the only type of socializing I do is here and Sufu… I have no interest in FB but may have to reopen my account just for this

The past couple of times I've visited Take5, they have been actively working on a new website with online shopping. Thing is, their stock shifts so quickly that items are often sold-out in regular sizes within a week of arriving and don't even make it online.

Anyone have much experience with the 15oz "Texas Cotton" that sam does? Ughmm…BF...ughm
They seem pretty interesting to me. Are they as uncomfortable as they look lol and did you experience alot of leg twist (hate stupid leg twist)
