Samurai Jeans

Hi all,
I gained 30 lbs this year (back to my weight in 2011) and have worn my old s500JX-LR for most of this year. Am back on the Samurai kick and would love this 21oz model 710. Anyone heard more on it?
Pics of the newly faded JX-LRs soon too (washed every 1.5 months or so).whoa, fantastic! Was this announced anywhere? Will drop Gordon an email if not
@Max:
Kit99bar, wait for the next BIG 710 releases end of this year. They will do a 21 oz version or heavier.

Kindly asking what model that is, xtc.
I'm looking for Samurai cut in a similar vein to the 634.
-
@beautiful_FrEaK will surely be able to help you out there, but I reckon the 5000XX is close to the 634S'es…
-
It is the S710XX, as he also wrote (yeah, I am a smartass…)
From what I mostly heard, the S5000VX is in terms of cutting the closest to the 634

After waiting for 2 hours at the customs I got my 710 OG.
First impression: the denim is incredible soft, even if heavily starched. And much darker than I feared. That's great. Not as slubby or hairyas I hoped.
The patch is Samurai's best so far- much thicker and sturdier than the other ones. Nice details like lined pockets and selvage button fly.
The measurements (size 34):
W 89 cm
FR 29 cm
BR 40 cm
T 32,5 cm
Lo 21,5 cm
In 92,5 cm (hemmed)

Not sure about the fit, after the WH desaster I'll wait until after the soak / wash to judge.

Jeans looks badass!!!

Thanks! I orderd at Yuichi / Kaizoku Pirates. Great service and fast shipping.

So, here's the result after one hot soak and one gentle wash. I think I didn't gt much shrinkage out of it - which is good in the topblock but I might need a hemjob. The upper part felt tight at first, but as I said, the denim feels stretchy so they were fine after few minutes. A little more space will surely occur and make them even better. The rest of the fit - I think it's perfect, a bit slimmer than my 710xx (or I got fatter).
W 86cm
FR 28cm
BR 38cm
LO 20,5cm
In 88,5cm

Thank you

Looks fine!!! Length looks good too, why the hem-Job?

I'll wait un til the creases set in. I don't like wearing cuffs nor Monster stacks, that's why.
-
Your pre-soak fit with cuffs and the Vibergs looked great though

Yeh, that patch is a winner.
