Ane, here's some details of the Skipper Jacket you requested a few weeks ago. As always, click for closer view.
tag is stitched with a metalic-y red thread, used to seeing this stamped
Under the phone pocket (top left pocket) this horsehide(?) with contrast green stitching makes sure the clasp/button doesn't tear the jacket.
more hh and contrast green stitching, this time for the hoodie rip-cord. The leather on the hoodie itself is entirely different feel, thickness, and color.
All zippers are Crown Aluminum zippers, great feel with nice hh leather tabs
As usual with MF pieces, the closer you look, the more thoughtful and well executed details pop out. I like this jacket, will likely wax it to make it a bit more wind resistant/hardened for winter.
Bonus/outtake the Haversack's starting to show it's colors.

Snowy, that jacket is a real winner and is a cool technical twist on what we associate MF with. Really cool piece!

@Chiba J. yes, you did respond, twice is better than none tho, especially considering I wouldn't have gone otherwise! :).
I waxed my Skipper jacket over the past week, it's ready for winter now. The wax has made it heavier/warmer which is what I was hoping for, as well as wind and water proof, so now a perfect weight for Sydney.
The colour change makes it look like I've owned it for 4 or so years, which I like too. Original green can be seen in second photo. Waxing is more work than I thought. Result is worth it tho, for sure!

The poplin they use on those seems to me to basically be a recreation of Ventile, so that thing is going to be pretty hardy in rain and wind, I'd imagine.

^ Fantastic jacket!
