Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I've never been much of a boots guy but the Road Champs really are beautiful and I can only imagine they get better with wear and evo. Love the low profile toe too.
They are amazing and they do look better with age (from Mr Freedom website - I believe these are Christophe's personal pair):

Christophe stated somewhere on this forum something that was shocking about how selective they are with the hides they use. It was something like it takes an entire hide to make a pair of RCs.
-
That has to be more than 2 months - I see he has the resole on those - I think these must be ongoing evo shots he has posted. Having said that , some of the evo pics i've see posted on the forum that have reportedly been worn/used a relatively short period of time are nothing short of remarkable. Some people have very active lives, and wear their work wear for real work.

2014 Okinawa CPO in the house & in the bath! Hoping for some solid shrinkage outta this one, but if it doesn't it's my new shacket. I gotta tell you guys, this denim is beefy!
Update: it shrank up just right IMO. Pardon the gym shorts…
Bonus pics of the slubbiness

Looking solid mate! What size did you go for in the end?
-
I went for a large, which is a size up from my usual

Nice! Looks good.

How do you find the length…I'm 6 feet and thinking I need an XL, but nervous about the length being too long (and obviosuly un-returnable after soaked)

Just a warning, mister freedom almost never makes shirts meant to be untucked.

It's longer than what I'm used to, but not so much that it will bother me but this is a large and I'm about 6'2. When it is completely dry and won't leave me with painful blue fingers I'll get a pic with my 633 (mid low rise) and my MF 64 US (mid-mid/higher rise) for comparison. I think with as it fits me now, I could wear it as a shirt or with a light flannel underneath.

That'd be much appreciated man, and if it's not too much trouble a few post soak measurements of your large would be super helpful. Wondering if I can get away with a large and just cold soak. Fit is solid on you

Is be happy to, I should be able to get them tomorrow but Friday at the latest depending on work.

No rush man, appreciated.

Looks like a great fit Anesthetist. I handled this shirt in Take5 and you're right, it is truly beefy denim with so much texture and slub. No way I could get away with it in this climate but I'll enjoy the evo from the sidelines.

Very nice pick up @Anesthetist

Got the chance to handle the shirt at SESF and I second the "beefiness" of the denim. Also, the elbow patches seems hefty and adds substantial structure around the arms. I usually wear Large in MF so I tried the XL raw. The concern is that the length is pretty long for XL and one would hope for a considerable shrinkage if you normally wear Large. The buttons feels solid as it should be, in order to match the overall weight of the okinawa denim.
It'll be interesting to see if the trend dictates sizing up.

I took three pics with different jeans (Roy, Mister Freedom 64, & 633). Sorry for the low quality darker images, I had to use my mirror since the wife was at work.
The post soak measurements are
Shoulder- 18"
Chest- 21"
Arm- 24.25"
Length- 29.25"
These are my best approximated measurements
