I went for a large, which is a size up from my usual
How do you find the length…I'm 6 feet and thinking I need an XL, but nervous about the length being too long (and obviosuly un-returnable after soaked)
It's longer than what I'm used to, but not so much that it will bother me but this is a large and I'm about 6'2. When it is completely dry and won't leave me with painful blue fingers I'll get a pic with my 633 (mid low rise) and my MF 64 US (mid-mid/higher rise) for comparison. I think with as it fits me now, I could wear it as a shirt or with a light flannel underneath.

That'd be much appreciated man, and if it's not too much trouble a few post soak measurements of your large would be super helpful. Wondering if I can get away with a large and just cold soak. Fit is solid on you

Is be happy to, I should be able to get them tomorrow but Friday at the latest depending on work.

No rush man, appreciated.

Looks like a great fit Anesthetist. I handled this shirt in Take5 and you're right, it is truly beefy denim with so much texture and slub. No way I could get away with it in this climate but I'll enjoy the evo from the sidelines.

Very nice pick up @Anesthetist

Got the chance to handle the shirt at SESF and I second the "beefiness" of the denim. Also, the elbow patches seems hefty and adds substantial structure around the arms. I usually wear Large in MF so I tried the XL raw. The concern is that the length is pretty long for XL and one would hope for a considerable shrinkage if you normally wear Large. The buttons feels solid as it should be, in order to match the overall weight of the okinawa denim.
It'll be interesting to see if the trend dictates sizing up.

I took three pics with different jeans (Roy, Mister Freedom 64, & 633). Sorry for the low quality darker images, I had to use my mirror since the wife was at work.
The post soak measurements are
Shoulder- 18"
Chest- 21"
Arm- 24.25"
Length- 29.25"
These are my best approximated measurements

Looks great man!

A little evo on my Palladenim
Creases & friction points. That's about it.

I was eyeing up the CPO shirt in Rivet and Hide today. Want.
It really doesn't help that I've just been paid too…
Give in, you know you want to….. it would probably look good under your IH bibs too. Speaking of which, the sale pairs have me tempted to try em again.

Has Danny got you on his payroll?
I find the IH-812 to be pretty easy to wear, with two caveats:
-
They're a pain in the neck when you visit the bathroom.
-
Don't go through a metal detector wearing them. They'll set it off, and you'll have to undergo a pretty thorough check due to the amount of ironwork they contain.
They're a lot lighter than the IH-805, and probably more comfortable in warm climates.

Def on my list although my wife rolls her eyes every time I mention em haha. Nah, Danny doesn't have me on the payroll, I just like good folks to get a killer shirt

Went ahead and ordered the large. Post soak measurements are looking good, especially I think if I cold soak. If i fuck this up, look out on the b/s/t
Thanks to Anesthetist for posting up pics and measurements!

A quick, cold bath should do the trick. You can always dry clean it in the future if need be. You will like it, I wore mine for four days straight! The only reason I'm not wearing it now is because of this damn heat!

Couldn't resist any longer. I just ordered the brown Mulholland Master jacket. Easily my favorite thing I tried on last month.
With the cold weather I didn't want someone nabbing the last in my size.
