@JR.303.:
A few days in now and they have thanfully become wearable!
Good to hear. It would have been a shame to give up on them.
It is easy to think heavy denim doesn't fit the first time you put it on. Always wise to give it a chance before flipping or returning.
Have a look at the product thread for other's experience… https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3937.msg653834#msg653834

Hi there
I am Andy from Switzerland, 43 years old.
Some years ago I got interested in nice boots (a Red Wing Iron Ranger). Soon I got interested in nice denim. Soon I got interested in nice leather jackets - and finally I landed here
I am also interested in old espresso machines, cooking and kitchen knifes - these are also ways to spend a lot of money ::)
Regards

AndyHi Andy, and welcome.
Sounds like you’re at the right place. Apart from the IH related discussions we have a coffee thread, a knife thread and many boots and jackets threads. The RW thread may not be as active as it was as many folks here have a thing for Wesco and Viberg.
Thanks for the nice intro!

That's good to know! I just have one pair of RW left, other boots have replaced them

Hi Everyone
I'm James, living in London (but include the standard disclaimer that I'm not from here originally!).
I've been wearing raw denim since I bought a pair of Nudies back in about 2008. That pair is still going strong, although at this point they've had so many repairs it's debatable whether they're really the same jeans (think Trigger's broom). These days my favourite pair are by PBJ, bought from Rivet and Hide a couple of years ago. I don't have any Iron Heart stuff yet but hoping to remedy that soon, which is how I came across this place. Have to say I've been super impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable everyone round here seems.
Apart from denim I also appreciate good coffee and good beer, which seems to be a common theme. I used to have a lot of other hobbies too, but a new baby has put them all on hold for the time being!
Looking forward to getting hold of some IH stuff and learning loads more from this forum.
Cheers

Hey Everyone,
I've been a member for a bit, but never introduced myself. I'm Pete, originally from Providence, Rhode Island. Now living in Lafayette, Colorado.
I've got a handful of IH gear. Currently breaking in a pair of 777-xhsib's which are easily one of my favorite pairs of jeans ever.

Thanks for the intro @pacreamer Always nice to know a little more about folks.
@jayaytee that is quite the poetic picture. Looks very familiar

Hi everyone,
I'm Keith. Just got my first pair of IH's yesterday thanks to Graham for helping me out. Unfortunately, they've gone up the birthday chute until next week so no comment on them yet.I do however have a question that must have been asked before. Why is a "W" stitched in to the jeans?

Welcome.
It's W for Works Inc our holding company:

or M for Motorcycle.
Take your pick.

Thanks Giles. It was bugging me too much
