IH-634SV - The Vulcan - 18oz Raw Straight Cut Jean (With Hidden Pockets)
-
To anyone that wants to answer….
I noticed that the outside coin pocket rivet on Jek's jeans looks a little bit high, where there appears to be a slight lip of metal above the denim, and the horizontal line of stitching is visible below the rivet.
My IHxB01s have the same thing. The medial coin pocket rivet is covering the horizontal stitching and about 1mm of coin pocket denim is above the rivet, but on the outside rivet the metal overhangs the pocket by about .5mm
I didn't notice it for a week or two, and then just shrugged it off as a small imperfection and moved on...but seeing it on Jek's pants has sparked my curiosity. Whats the story?
EDIT: photo added of Jek's. Mine looks basically the same
Looks same as mine? Maybe the rivet is a hair off but no big deal…

It's small imperfection. That is what happens when human beings get involved in the production process. If you learn to embrace it, you'll love it….

Below's a bit of a shot showing how my SV's are looking 6 months in. Photo taken out @ lunch today by the water.
What you'll notice is a bit of a gradient. Some lighter blues near the thigh, quite an electric blue near the knee, and then cray cray dark down below the knee. In short, looking really good.

I would. Preventive maintenance is always a good thing in my book.
-
Yeah, that's all I'd do. It's not big enough to need any patching.
-
I love these new photos. Makes the denim really pop
-
I think it looks great. Classic looking jean w/ a classic looking boot.

Going to suggest those boots don't work very well with such lovely jeans. But am sure if you cared that much you'd of picked different, or it's just my perceptionWas gonna say as much, but figured (a) he probably doesn't give a shit, and (b) my taste is dubious at times.
