IH-634SV - The Vulcan - 18oz Raw Straight Cut Jean (With Hidden Pockets)
-
Knife fades on the back pocket are looking sick. Coming along great!
The Vulcans are my favorites at this point. I'm waiting till all of the snow that's been dumped on Chicago melts away for my second wash- that should represent about 9 months of wear. The bottom cuffs are crusted over in salt right now, so I'm looking forward to the 18 oz changing from its current stiff-as-a-board encrusted state to actual fabric again. -
Just gave mine their first wash, 6 months deep. These are so dang stubborn, there's very little fading still at this point. JoshJames, yours are looking very nice. Keep beating 'em hard (that sounded wrong) and keep us updated!

Jeans are looking good but I want to see some more wear on them babies…
I always cuff, but I'm surprised that more retailers don't show fits cuffed. Maybe it's just me but I think that a cut looks most what it's supposed to look like when the inseam is around your true inseam (which generally isn't 34 or 36"), and cuffing is the easiest way to get it around that ballpark.

I guess retailers want to show the true silhouette of the jeans hence the no cuffs decision.
For me personally, I like both ways but sometimes, imo the proper length which allows one to have at least an inch of cuff when wished, and no cuffs when looking for a cleaner look especially when wearing dress shoes or boots alike is a popular choice. I will eventually hemmed my jeans when the time comes but for now will wear them with big cuffs. Cuffs FTW..Anyway love those standings snowman!!

Road Champs photobombed your vulcan solo!
ahem yeah, they did :). Didn't want to cut them out after the fact once it was all taken.

What is your true waist size? They will stretch back out a bit.

My true size is 38 (96-99cm) as I just found out. Usually I like to have some space in my jeans. I don't like them too tight. For me the 36 is not perfect anymore, but this test was important for me, to see what really happens if I wash this jeans on a very high degree. So now I know it can shrink up to 2.5-2.75 inches. I am not that good in meassuring so it's something in between. 80 degrees:) soon i will try out 90 degrees, to see if it shrinks even more, but i think the maximum is reached. Sorry for the bad English guys!
