IH-555-02 - 18oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Jeans - Indigo

unfortunately yeap. i got thunder thighs & my pants hang low.
i think it's the way i'm built. now i just need to find denim with looser thighs that do not look sloppy & a smaller leg opening. . . .
The SEXIH22-301 is the way to go. I have huge thighs and my 555-01,555-02,and 555-03's all hang real low cuz of the size of my thighs. These new 301's are perfect, I highly recommend them.

That's so strange that you guys are having that issue because with me it's the opposite. I sized the same for my 555-01s and sized 33 on my 555-02's (post shrinkage of the 301's). The thigh is slightly fuller as are the legs, however not by much. The low rise makes it so the jeans fit better and higher in the crotch area, so they don't hang low, causing the distress to the crotch. Wonder why my experience is so much different than yours… Well sorry, I hoped that suggestion would be of some help but I guess that was already tried.

I love the 301 - your pair is a golden fit for sure.
For me, though, the 555-02 that I had IHUK measure for me seemed like the obvious choice. Glad I got them, and I'm glad you are enjoying your 301s - they do look great on you.

^haha yeah…no hard feelings though. now i know what size to get the next time i'm going for'em, so it also has a good thing to it!
@Finn666 - thanks dude! - after a few months of trying to figure out which fit would work best for me, i settled on these. The bonus was Paula found me the perfect pair - relaxed in the top block with a nice higher rise and slim leg below knee.
love my 555-03's as well…should have gotten these (or the 01's) instead. next time then
btw. how's the range of motion in the top block/thigh area for you (since you and me have similar big thighs to deal with!)?...

@Finn oh the old thighs issue lol These are a size 36, so the waist is quite lose, but comfy enough to tuck a shirt into if I wear them on my weekly trip into the office. The thighs measured 13.4 pre-soak and measured right at 13.1 after soak - perfect for me and easy to bend/squat down. Not sure I will be spotting anyone on Back Squats or demo-ing power cleans wearing these though haha.
I only did a 15 min warm soak, so I know there is more shrink left in these, but I wanted to make 100% sure I could pull them off before I shrunk the heck out of them.
In reality, some people would consider these "upsized" for me, but I actually did that on purpose. My thighs and hamstrings are rather large, so I needed the knee measure to work with me. These did the trick. I chose the 02 just to have a variety of IH fabrics, but I'm sure there would have been a pair or two of the -01 that would have fit me as well.

How long have you been wearing these, and how often do you give them a wash? They look amazing.

thanks all
been wearing about a year between repairs & "stuff" & i wash them every 2 to 3 months so i think i've washed them maybe 4 or 5 times. . . . sorry i keep horrible records. only way i can really tell is by looking through this thread

Can't even explain how much I am enjoying these. I remember my first pair of unsanforized denim, A pair of warehouse 660s, and wearing these brings me back to those days. For bigger guys that want a clean look, these are perfect. Snug leg with a relaxed top block. A true athletic mans fit if sized correctly.
