Thank You @Sam. Feel free to use them for promo - your photos make them look amazing.
These are my much loved first pair of IH denim. They were purchased in Jan 2016, and that photo would've been taken when i sent them in for repair of crotch and sideseam in August 2017. Great memory, @Alex.They've evolved a little since then, although i haven't really worn them as much since last November. I've been wearing my DWC pair of PIH5DCT pretty much solid since then.

A 60° C wash managed to squeeze an additional 0,5 inches shrinkage in length. So there is quite the shrinkage left in them for anyone interested.
Thanks for you continuing contributions regarding this; I just grabbed a pair and waiting for them to arrive while plotting the appropriate soak/wash-to-shrink scheme.
All in all, how much have you lost all around? Is it just the length you keep getting additional millimetres off of?

@Crit_Obs I made the mistake of not getting all the length shrinkage out first time round.. so hemmed them following their first wash then subsequently got more shrinkage down the line.. as you can see above they certainly aren't long!
The waist and thigh stretched back out pretty quickly after I put them on again though.

Here are the complete measurements after a hot soak and a 40° C wash. Alex did a shrink test, too. I think it's my third pair by now and so far I got ~1,5'' at 40° C and ~1,77'' at 60° C shrinkage for the inseam. They do lose most in length. Everything else shrinks a tad as well but I barely noticed it because they can stretch where needed. I'd say if they fit well in their raw state you will be good after a wash, too.

Let me apologize for those who feel the topic has been exhausted by now ::) but regarding the soaking/washing…
If I'm NOT looking to lose any length nor width neither here nor there, but would also like to get all the shrink out before wearing, is there any point in doing a 30'C gentle cycle machine wash after the 2h soak in the hottest tap water that I just pulled them out of? The waist is and will remain huge no matter what, while elsewhere the fit is spot on, so I'm threading a fine line here... I'll only be washing them in 30'C in the future as well, I guess. @Dion 's shrinkage tests were done in temperatures of 40'C and above.
tl;dr - Is a 30'C wash likely to get more shrinkage out after a hot soak, or should I not bother?
