ALDEN
-
My biggest Alden regret is following the masses when everyone started hating on Alden and selling my Roy boots and black shell cordovan boots.
-
I totally think it´s blown out of proportion on these forums. That´s one of the downside of forums.
actually that's one of the + of forums. it lets me know ahead of time what I can expect from a vendor from people who have horrible taste in goods & services . . . . just like me. if someone i trust says a company sucks for the following reasons i tend 2 take their word on it. i also like 2 reward companies who go the extra mile for their customers . . . or what was the standard many moons ago, by answering for their products.
forums just shine a light on the good & the bad.

You still have your Longwings though, right? Please tell me you do…

Of coarse and I traded a pair of Viberg scout boots for a pair of Alden cordovan color 8 indys
-
those cordovan indys were a good deal.
stop being such a forum whore D666 & going with the wave.
what's next, Wesco?

My worn in Indy's which I acquired from @seawolf are extremely comfortable, and despite definitely being well worn they display zero structural issues.
I was one of those guys who always like the Indy boot, but was kinda put off by some of the negative comments about how Alden deal with issues. Having tried these Indy's I will definitely be back for another pair in the future.

The Barrie last is my favorite fit of any shoe ever. I'm currently wearing my Black PTB's and they're so damm comfortable. The Trubalance last is great too, and @Megatron1505 you should get a narrower pair for your next pair of Indy boots and you'll be over the moon!

Couldn't agree more Barrie/Trubalance = walking on clouds

Speaking of Indy's
-
That I did @seawolf. I traded a pair of viberg service boots for them.

So good, should have never left. Love me some Alden shell. Also have color 8 longwings.
