IHM-02 - Ventile Lined Sateen Cotton M65 Field Jacket

Hmm. I have both 72's in large, but think xl would have been better. L on the jacket and it fits but leaves enough room to layer. At first I thought about sizing down to medium but as Volcano says gotta watch out for the shoulder measurements.

well i only realised this after wearing the jacket that the shoulder measurements plays a very big role in comfort because unless your hands are always stuck by your side, its best to have allowance for the hand to move freely. i
ts like, try straightening your hands forward and make a clench your 2 hands together and swing left and right. if thats not restricting and does not make you feel uncomfortable then you're good. thats how i gauge for mine and it works for me.
I'm an L in IH tops usually, and an L in this…....
there you go. i followed this advice from G and it was spot on!

These run large the xxxl fits me fine. It is actually a bit big. JSJ this will fit you. No problem.

Snowy really kuul shot.
Finn mate for me yes like Friday mentioned with a heavy weight shirt. Note i am used to cold below zero but as it rains mostly here in winter i think the m65 is just fine for züri weather. Below zero you going better with the deck when not used really to the cold or going To the mountains. Ventile is working fine in Rain up to a certain level but it holds really well without freezing. Hope this helps a bit. Let me know if you need more info

Thanks Gents.
@Finn, I was wearing the M65 + 72 in around 0c and I was warm enough. I noticed like davito that it beads the water for a while, but as it's not really meant to be waterproof, if it's anything more than a light rain, it'll get in eventually. I walked around for about 30 minutes in the rain before feeling it seeping in…at that point I got my brolly out :). As it started getting to -degrees, I was wearing an extra layer which kept me toasty warm. I'm NOT used to anything below about 10c, and went from 25c to 0/-0c over night....probably just confused things more than not; sorry!
