why not? looks good to me…
this cut is perfect for us bigger boys RonMine are getting tapered and hemmed. After I hem them to 31in(stack a bit), the hem measures 9.6in. Sorry, just way too big for me. So, I opted to get them tapered.

Urbanwoodsman, who's doing the tapering in Manhattan? Assuming your having it done there?
Loren in Greenpoint, BK
Jean maker but he does repairs and tailoring. -
Hmmm Thanks.
Stanton St. Tailors destroyed a pair of pbj's on me so now i'm reluctant to have it done again. Id love to see some pics of how your 816's turned out. Will do. Should have them back Friday. You live in the city?

These are tempting me but I'm resisting so far. What I couldn't possibly resist is a pair of these in the 21oz. superblack denim.

Hello,
to everyone I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.
I have a “Beatle Buster“ IhxB01 in size W34 which I really like. Now I'm thinking about buying a “17oz Japanese Cotton Duck Work Pants” IH-816 but not sure which size will fit me.
The Beatle Buster was a bit tight at the beginning, but after a few days it stretched and now it fits perfect.
The sizing table says the Beatle Buster has a 83.8” waist and the IH-816 has a 89.0“ waist (in size 34). But my beatle buster stretched to almost 89”. So should I take a size 34 or will the cotton stretch like the 21oz denim?
Regards

i havent checked yet cuz I'm on the phone…what does the other measurements (thigh) say compared to your busters?
if it isn't that much of a difference I may would go for a 33 in your case, cuz the duck stretches as well!...as a note:
the above is just a guess cuz I haven't looked at the measurement charts, so if anyone says sth. different it could also be true...
let me check the chart right quick!... -
the hem done by IHUK:
