IH-816 - 17oz Duck Work Pants
-
Mine have seen a lot of wear. They are a lot softer than then duck LBs. Minimal fading to mine, in fact the only fading is a result if machine washing three or four times (worn these 75+ times). Very versatile casually or dressed up with a shirt and more rugged than chinos imo.

@Jordonf9 - I live in Southern Alabama, so I know about some heat. These are a good option, especially after they break in. However, if you want something a bit more "summery" grab the 711 - which are great for summer because the smaller leg opening looks good with sneakers and mocs.

@Jordonf9 I live in Phoenix and I would honestly recommend the 707's for summer wear. I own the 816s as well and I love them, but not comfortable for summer wear in my opinion.

Thanks. After looking at the 711 again it is a perfect cut for me. 36 is nice except would be better with 1" less in waist.
This duck stretch much?

If I recall correctly in the 711 thread, you can expect 1 inch Shrink in the waist too

Forgot the 711 was a chino. I love duck canvas, not so much chino.

why not opt for the 666-D? They sound like what you might be after
-
All 666 are too thin for my thighs. I need at least 13.4" to be comfy with a 34.5"-36" waist….but I just looked and tag 38 isn't TOO far off....hmmmmmmmm

nice @Haddtoo 555 !

The beige will fade too in high friction areas…
-
My beige pair faded all over after multiple washes. High friction areas are more pronounced.

Thanks guys ….. now we know.
