I really struggle to comprehend nanny state interventions around personal freedoms that don’t impact other individuals. As I’ve said here, and I know it’s controversial, and maybe too political, but I don’t think any mind altering substances that aren’t deadly should be criminalized. Let the burden of proof rest with the prohibitionists instead of jumping to prohibition as we so often do. If a substance has an LD50 that makes it dangerous (like fentanyl), it can be treated as a poison. Otherwise, hands off.
This unquestionably would improve the world a great deal but I won’t get into those details.

On a related note, I dislike guns but did enjoy reading the Guns and Ammo thread. I'm assuming it was removed for the same reason.
-
We removed it because a member was giving another, member who was new to guns advice that I felt was extremely dangerous. I wanted no part of the shit that could have possibly happened by giving someone, who in my opinion was emotionally incapable of gun ownership advice on semi-automatic weapons.

Some love for @tody who managed to get hold on a Hamburg party flannel for me. Even negotiated with the seller in my favor. Got the shirt shipped to him and when he was on it’s way to Texel we even did a short meet-up where he handed the shirt to me in person and where we had a short but very nice chat! Thanks again and have a nice one in Texel mate!

I recently enjoyed a conversation with a woman I'm dating about how I'm a member of an online 'denim community.'
Started after she was very complimentary of my IH shoulder bag, and ended with us agreeing to wear triple denim next time we go out together...
I've got a good feeling about this one
I'll follow this up double triple denim pictures of it happen, sextuple denim, if you wish...

I just came to appreciate that I can wear whatever I want to work - within the bounds of good taste of course :).
Never really thought about that fact.
