@58panheadfan @BloodnThunder @goosehd tagged y’all cause you seem to dig this Himel gear!!
I’ve been doing my homework and digging deep on factors such as style, quality of construction, leather quality, and desirability. I def wanted something that would be well made and have high value: enjoyment ratio. Mostly, I wanted a badass jacket at a great price. I just pulled the trigger on a Himel Canuck used on eBay for $1,300 USD. Denis had made a great point of the sort of depreciation / stabilization value of leather jackets. I think what I paid gets me close to a stable value point if I need to resell in a worse case scenario (I hope and hope not!!)
Enough of the justification jargon!! So stoked to be getting my first high end leather jacket!! I only have had a Harley Leather jacket before. It was a cool jacket. But I’m stoked to see what this Himel is all about!!!

Damn Denis!!! That pic just helped alleviate 95% of my buyers remorse!!! Looks incredible.
Im really hoping the sizing works out for me.The shoulders measure about .75 larger than my normal shirt size. The arm length is about spot on for my normal shirt length. The chest is right in the middle of my preferred range on a shirt/ jacket. Since this is a thicker leather I’m not exactly sure how that will all translate.

Yeah great piece and shot @goosehd , and you won't regret the garment unless it doesn't fit, @Mizmazzle ; in that case, I'm not sure what size you are but there would be a potential local buyer

Always good to have a Plan B!!! @mclaincausey
Hoping it works out and I can be buried in this thing!! No coffin. Just this jacket and straight into the ground!! Should keep me fresh for eons! -
@Mizmazzle How did they measure the jacket and from where to where? Your question is vague and I’m afraid my response won’t help you if I don’t measure correctly. You also have to account that jackets are typically layered over a shirt (or two - t-shirt and button up) and may need extra space.
If I were you, I would just try it on and go from there. Keep it if it fits and you like it and if it doesn’t move it on and try again.
