@natehate Injury troubles? I'm getting up there in age, so probably not doing this much longer myself.

@choco i tore a ligament and a tendon in my ankle way back in 2011
doctors didn't take it seriously they just kept saying it was a sprain
i was rolling it 6+ times a day just walking on flat ground.
so finally a doctor took it seriously and found missing cartilage
she send me to a orthopedic surgeon who then dismissed it back to a sprain (this is almost a year after and rolling it 6+ times a day)
so started doing physio, didnt work and didnt work
went back to the orthopedic surgeon but the day before i ran into a friend who is the operating room nurse and i explain to him whats going on, he says "sounds like you tore a ligament"
next day the doc "are you robs friend?" and then proceeds to tell me word for word what my buddy had said
so mri and such reveals the tore ligament and tendon
still doing physio this whole time (thousands of dollars out of pocket)
so he wants to cut the ligament and clean up the cartilage
ankle gets stronger finally before surgery
so he ends up just cleaning up the cartilage (but leaves a big chunk floating between my skin and the ligament that goes across the top on your ankle joint )
fast forward to present
i'm missing 20% of my cartilage in that ankle and had another scope done last tuesday. they did micro fracturing to get bone to grow in and fill in some of the missing cartilage -
@goosehd Thanks! and my bad, the site suggested I make a new post since it was so old. hahaha.

@natehate SHEESH! sorry you've been going through all that for so long man! I've had injuries, but nothing bad enough to keep out like that knocks on wood. Hopefully the strengthened bone help out and you can get back to some type of training some day
