Evolution of Leather - Belts Wallets Patches

@Dirty:
Damn it ! Did i ruin its potential then? I'll buy another one if i did
imo there is no such thing like "ruin its potential" in the raw denim world…keep on wearing and everything is going to turn out just great.
some things do need some conditioning from time to time (mostly leather stuff like patches, belts, boots etc.) to avoid cracks and so on, since oil/wax and other conditioners keeps the leather pretty smooth and "flexible" and stops it from cracking/breaking.
so you didn´t "killed" the belt cuz you oiled it, don´t worry the sarga has just begun mate...so keep wearing it and one day you´ll notice some great evo!wear don´t compare, just wear
Thanks for the words of wisdom…I have a lot to learn

no problemo, that's what a forum is all about imo…to ask questions to get a better knowledge about things others might already know.
I was in your spot a few years back as well, asking all those questions...today I'm glad I did, cuz now I know a few things...so don't be afraid to ask all your questions guys. only do me one favour, please think before you poste ) -
^ You weren't kidding about that hot soak
And that DC4002 patch looks great as well.

Having checked through a few threads I can't find the actual post… But, I remember you posted pics of the leather tag of one of your pairs of jeans after so many months, to show the evo.
I thought it was a cool idea, so I copied it ;).
