1955S - 21oz Selvedge Denim "1955" Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo

@Spring:
Is everyone clear that the rise on the 1955 cut is about 2 inches higher in the front, compared to the 634S. That means, if you have a gut at all, don't even dream of these. I've heard several people bitch about the MBB rise and these are even crazier, especially in the larger sizes. If the 634S is your "golden" cut, then this would be your "shit" cut. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to get the facts out there.
So slim and tall is good then for these aye? I'm a 31 waist with no gut in sight…
Jerkface.

I wasn't gifted this, mofucks work to maintain it every day. $350 jeans in the closet are a good motivator to make sure I can still fit into them…

@simonc he is not hating at all, he doesn't want to see someone pick up a cut that will not flatter them or be comfortable on them. You are missing his point. MikeC is extremely knowledgeable about fabrics, cuts etc… He was just trying to help out. He sometimes may come off like a dick but, he is one of the most genuine, giving members on this forum.

Certainly not the only member here for whom that could be said.

Stop talking about me FT

^I said sometimes acts like a dick, not looks like one!

I am lazy!! can someone point me to the 1955sRAW page. Thanks in advance.
I still love this cut my favorite IH cut!! fits my body type perfect! 6'1"" I vary from 185 to 190 with large thighs and wear a size 34. I have a little bit of gut especially after the Holidays, but the high rise never ever bothers me. After some wear and molding this cut conforms and comfortably sits right on top of the hips. I never have to pull them up, like I do on some of my low/medium rise jeans. So if anyone out there has a little extra love handle do not be scared to try these out!! Do not be scared of the High Rise!!
One last thought to chew on!! if you do a lot of bending and squatting at work the high rise gives more freedom of movement and I do not have to worry about blowing out the crotch in front of the coworkers!!
