popvulture I’m really looking forward to them. I’m actually not sure on the last. I can’t remember the number. I know it’s the original one though. Sort of a little flatter toe. I got low woodsman heel and unstructured toe. I just hope they fit because I did the measurements myself. I’m embarrassed to say I paid for the expedited production so it only took a couple months. If he gets them shipped today I may see them this week. Depends how long they are in customs to get to me in Canada. I’ll keep you posted!

mclaincausey so cool you have Road Champs. I still regret not getting a pair when they first came out. I hope these Role Clubs satisfy my engineer needs! It’s a big investment but I keep telling myself that my now 1 year old son may one day want to wear them. My wife is continually reminding me that I say that for almost every new purchase these days. Not sure for how much longer that will work!
-
@deanclean yes.. the wives haha! It’s almost a dayjob to clarify sometimes no just kidding my fiancé wil never understand why i spend that amount of money on boots/Ih stuff etc. but in the end she sees how happy i am with it.

new boots and coffee
badalassi cognac leather , very nice leather
they will age beautifulcolor compared to my RW 877
-
Congrats @Daniel San that leather looks nice and buttery!! What cut jeans are those over the boots?
-
@Mizmazzle
it’s a 634 18oz
the leather is awesome, it’s a bit softer than the Horween CLX although it’s a little thicker in my opinion. But that’s just a guess. -
@Daniel San liking the hem on that 634. Been kinda on the fence thinking it might be a bit wide for my liking. I’ve been an 888 guy in large part cause I love the hem on my boots. But that 634 is money!
-
Amazing @Daniel San pictures do look familiar
-
Lofgrens Donkey Puncher in natural! Fit like a glove! Like them
-
@Dmart fantastic! Awesome boots, JL is just as addicting as IH
-
Thanks @Heavy_blue They are now due for some conditioning as the leathers dries out a bit. Will have to see the cobbler as well. The stitches on the last start opening from the abuse on the motorcycle.

Hello there all! Question tuesday.. i have a little heel slip on my left foot,
Wich is strange cause that foot is running a little larger.. i wear a 9,5 and in my opinion a size 9 would be to small. In the end i have a little heel slip like i said. Any suggestions to avoid that or to make it go away -
Heavy_blue not sure how to get rid of that. You could try some insoles?
-
Heel slip is not unexpected in an engineer. Sometimes it will improve as the leather conforms to your foot, or you may get used to it.
-
@Heavy_blue I put some thin Red wing inserts I had into my JLs. They fit really well now. Almost no heel slip at all now.
-
@Mizmazzle great! Can you please show me wich ones you have:)
-
Hey @Heavy_blue these are the ones I used. I used them in a couple pairs of my Red Wings and had them around. So decided to slip em in my JLs and they work great for me! They are pretty low profile so helped take up some of the volume in my boots.

Heavy_blue I’ve just ordered some footbeds from a company called “sole” they look like they could help with the heel slip because they have a bit of a pocket in the heel of the bed. Also they have a bunch of different thickness. Take a look
