Congrats @D97x7 !! Very good looking collection.
Would you mind describing each one of them? Brand, makeup, sizing equivalents?Left to right
White's Nomads, distressed smooth out, 10D, double mid-sole, 705 half-sole
John Lofgren, natural CXL, 10, as they come
Viberg, IHVB-05, brown, 9.5D, https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5489.0 could have done with a 10D if I'm honest, fine with thin socks though
Wesco, IHW-03, brown, 10D, https://www.ironheart.co.uk/boots2/ihwe-build-3.html
Role Club, engineer, brown horse hide, not sure of size as made to measure, says 29.5 inside but I don't know what that's the equivalent of, if it means Japanese sizing then all the others are wrong, lol. -
Thanks for the descriptions. Super nice collection @D97x7 .
Also useful for me on sizing, I'm a 10 C . Cheers. -
Thanx Buddy, the vibram has a very good traction.
I have them on my IHxViberg smokejumpers and they are unparalleled whether in snow and ice or up a mountain, hiking. While functionally they are awesome, aesthetically they can sometimes ruin the look of a boot, in my opinion. They look great here.

If you're looking for an affordable pair of warm winter Pac boots. These Baffins are totally awesome, and I got them on eBay new for $110 shipped. I got them from shoebuy but they took 8 days to ship them. I ordered them Dec 26th and I just got them today. I was kind of pissed it took them so long to ship because it was freaking freezing out. But I guess they were on vacation for the holiday.
They are rated to -94 F and are relatively lightweight for their bulk. The nice thing about them is the lining is removable and also is so thick and comfy it is like putting your foot into a pillow. The entire inside of the shoe and toe cap is full of fill making the boot extra comfortable. I had them on out in the snow and it was 14 F out today. They were almost too warm with tech wool silk socks…
These are my 2nd pair of Baffins. My first pair I got in Alberta when I was working in Fort McMurray and it was well below zero. Those were tech toed rubber ones and they lasted me 3 years of everyday wear. They were so comfortable compared to the regular rubber steel toes I usually wear, I wore them all year round even in the hottest months 12 hour shifts and they were super comfy, But my feet were always sweaty.
These boots are excellent for the money. I looked online for an after Xmas sale and eBay is the cheapest place I've seen, even when other stores have so called sales. I've had Sorels and a few other brands of pacs. But these are the best, I think.
