More clinch engineers, these ones are black overdyed latigo, cn last, lowered heel, partially structured toe. I really like that these ones haven’t given up any of the overdye after about 3 years of regular wear.. It seems to me a lot of tea core leathers fade much faster than these have done.

@Autorotate , thanks for the compliment, yes , I've always like the overall profile of the IR but the sole just seems to be kinda lacking something.And I've always like a complete stack leather mid and heel ,even my whites boots I've also got brass of tokyo to remove and resole it
-
@VoodooRay they are wonderful … yes it probably depends on the Latin tanning with double process. I wanted to get a pair of Buco with the same leather. Congratulations indeed
-
@Luijim78 Thanks! I feel like there's a dull peachy hue sitting underneath the black when the sunlight shines on them. I'm hoping that they stay relatively black and that when they do start to give up some of the overdye the tea core effect will be a more subtle than it is on other overdyed boots that I have.
-
@VoodooRay I think it will be exactly like this, my compliments are really very nice (I hope one of my next purchases)

Alden Tobacco Reverse Chamois
Still early days, only 12-13 days of wear but I can’t recall more comfortable boots than those. -
@Cskarev those look great, love the crocking starting to show up. I’m a huge fan of that kind of character suede/roughout gets. Will just keep getting better and better.
-
@popvulture I am really excited to see further progress on the crocking you mentioned…Those boots are extremely beautiful now and I also believe they will look even better in the future.

@VoodooRay how long have you had those man? Bet you’re loving them!
-
@Mizmazzle I love these. Still mad at myself that I sold my Mocs and didn’t do a resole like yours
-
@Mizmazzle ha! Perfect visual
-
@Mizmazzle Looking good!
I never considered a Moc Toe boot for myself, the white sole has always put me off. I guess the hipsters ruined that for me. But when I watch a youtube cobbler video doing a resole on them, the result usually looks pretty good! -
@Mizmazzle yes mate really enjoying them!.. had them a few months now but haven’t put much wear into them, I felt them a bit big initially but once they took the shape of my foot they’ve been great!
