@Luijim78 Nice!! When given the opportunity, could you add sizes to each as comparison between the different brands and lasts? Also, can you provide any worthwhile differences to note if going to purchase another pair - I.e. Wesco Mr. Lou vs Redwing. Thanks in advance! John

@John-Galt certainly, I start from the fact that I have a fairly "normal" foot as regards the width and the instep, I am a standard D sole and the length is 26/27cm therefore a size 8 or 8.5 D. I start from the Role Club, the Horse Horween is slightly stiffer and thicker than the Wesco 100 anniversary pair (definitely the most comfortable and softest pair since the first day I have). They are a US size 9D and fit a little bigger than the Mr Lou in Black Maryam of the same size. The Mr Lous are the narrowest and most precise in this 9D size. The Attraction lot.444 are also size 9D and have a fit very similar to that of the Role Club, the sole is much wider than the Mr Lou, they are made with Maryam horsebutt leather like the Wesco but unlike these the latter dye is made in Japan by the brand, this makes them much less tenacious and the Teacore and the collapse of the tip much easier and faster. The Wesco Van Cleef III are model 7500 (the Mr Lou are 7600) and size 9E. They are the widest I have and I can compare their fit to a pair of Red Wing 2268 PT.99 size 9.5d that I wear very little and didn't include in the photos in the post. The Wesco anniversary 100 (boss model) are size 8.5D, in this case the soft and buttery leather makes the difference. They are very comfortable and are the only ones that I can wear with every pair of jeans including the 777 size 28 with 16cm openings, the Teacore is immediate and the comfort is incredible. Finally, the Red Wing 9268 and 8268 are both size 8.5. The first ones are exactly my size, fit and shape similar to Wesco Anniversary but differ in softness and comfort. Every time I take off my left boot I risk skinning my foot . Naturally the Klondike leather is very cool, even in this case the daughters of The appear quickly, but even after years of use they are still as stiff as winter (not the Italian one which is now around 20 degrees ). Finally, the 8268, are my second pair and both pt.05, with the lace on the high ankle, the Abilene rought out leather is very beautiful as well as prone to staining, changing shape and expanding in a short time. They are size 8.5 but after a few months you may have to wear an insole because they will feel very or too loose. I hope that with my terrible English I was able to give some useful information. I apologize if I wasn't able to be clear, if you need other photos, measurements or anything else just ask (I'm only speaking with the little experience I have, if I've written inaccuracies or bullshit please correct me calmly). Have a good weekend everyone

@Luijim78 Thank you much my friend for the very detailed response - very greatly appreciate your feedback on the various brands and appreciating your collection/rotation. In terms of engineers, I currently have four pairs of Wesco - three Mr. Lou and one 7500 - and another Mr. Lou on order. I measure a 9.5D and wear a 9E in the Mr. Lou and a 9D in the 7500. I’d like to venture into other brands, but I’m Leary of the sizing when placing orders that are not easily returned if sizing doesn’t work out, especially with after having the Wesco sizing dialed in. Thus, greatly appreciate when someone like yourself that has experience across numerous brands can provide details and insight. I may have some questions in the future and again want to thank you for taking the time for so much detail. Btw - your English was great, probably better than mine. John

@John-Galt thank you so much mate, whenever you want it will be a pleasure

@Mizmazzle undoubtedly, due to the shape and type of leather and softness, the Wesco Anniversary are the most comfortable, also because I can fit them into all jeans, even those with the narrowest opening. Slightly below are Role Clubs (although perhaps I'm a little conditioned by the fact that I love them and that they make them perfect or almost perfect for me). With the Mr Lou I had some problems with the tip of my left foot, but after some time they became quite comfortable even if still hard and very black . The others in the rotation, being wider, "slip" a little on their heels.

Those are sweet @Mizmazzle !!
