Thanks @Mizmazzle they really are wonderful. Regarding your hiking boots, they are great, but IMO there is never a last one, not as long as you keep hiking.

Idunno I think you can rebuild a boot with the right welting, so as long as the upper remains intact there’s nothing stopping you from never needing another boot of that sort again. Which is from a sustainability perspective a good goal.

@Jcaz6996 snap! I have a few pairs and always end up wearing the 1907’s. Think I much prefer the shape of the toe box?

@mclaincausey Absolutely correct, but we all know that in reality, this is only wishful thinking. We still buy new stuff although we don't "need" to

@Hajduk-0 Viberg 2030 Burned Oak Dublin on Ridgway
I got it from Viberg but I think it’s this exact build: https://rivetandhide.com/products/viberg-service-boot-dublin-burned-oak-2030.html

@mclaincausey
Thank you, they are very similar to my viberg, Dark Rubber Essex 2030
https://eastwestapparel.co.uk/shop/viberg-service-boots-dark-rubber-essex/On your pictures they are much darker than on the website. That's why I said they look a lot like my dark rubber Essex 2030
-
Yes Essex and Dublin are very similar at least; I don’t know how Rubber changes things.
-
