Andersen-Andersen knitwear

Looks super nice @flannel-slut . I’m still wondering whether to go for one…of course I missed the sale period .
How did you size (tag size) relative to your IH UHFs? -
That full zip is siiiick. I went half zip because I’m picturing this under a sport coat in winter business settings but I am a big layering guy and the full zip would be perfect for that.
-
@motojobobo thanks man! Had a little buyers remorse as this was an unexpected sale/purchase but immediately went away when I tried it on.
I’m in between sizes for UHFs but usually medium in the work cut and large in western. Went with a medium for the AA -
@mclaincausey thank you! You are in for a treat when yours arrives. definitely lives up to the hype quality wise and love the fit in that the fabric has a good amount of give and hugs the wrists/forearms perfectly. Quarter zip under a blazer will look damn good for sure.
-
@flannel-slut stoked. Thanks again for the heads up. She lands tomorrow. Gonna be a long summer waiting to wear it.
-
@flannel-slut damn man. That thing is nice!! Has a great silhouette.
-
@Mizmazzle thanks my dude!
-
@flannel-slut well sheet!! I just had to pop over to the DR website to see what the Anderson-Anderson hype is all about and damn it if I didn’t stumble upon a Dehen Carrier jacket in olive waxed duck that is just the bees mutherfucking knees!!!
-
@Mizmazzle you’re not doing your part around here unless your enabling another @tody and @scarfmace put the itch on me and on it goes!
-
No pun intended *itch
-
@flannel-slut haha. My favorite thing to say to my wife is…”I’ve almost completed building my wardrobe. This last piece and I’ll be done!” Eye rolls and laughter ensue.
-
“This one is used. I got it for a song!”
-
They’re awesome — I’ve got a black full zip and a taupe half. The heft is real.
-
This thing is the Iron Heart of sweaters. So dense, soft, and solid
-
I love my Andersen Andersen turtleneck! You are totally right @mclaincausey with the IH reference
-
Did not expect to wear it for months, but I wore my 3/4 zip sweater during chilly, wet nights in Telluride last weekend and it was an incredibly warm, hardy garment. Absolutely the king of my sweater collection.
-
Wanting to get the half zip sweater and wear it with that real nice baggy knit look and feel. I wear a large with IH stuff and it’s fitted. Can anyone suggest if I should go for a L or XL? Thanks!
-
@BeeFree hmm I’d have to know more to suggest a size, but for ref I’m 6’2”, 200lbs and wear a L in both of my AA sweaters — one half zip, one full. On me, the L fits very well, not too trim and not too loose. I wear an XL in most IH tops, sometimes an L.
-
I’m 6’ and 165 lbs. Wear size large in IH Western shirts and they’re snug. Hoping to have a loose and baggy fit for the half zip so was thinking XL (all my sweaters and tshirts from Japan are XL) but afraid it might be TOO big based on what people are saying.
-
I would not go over your IH size, go down one for a fitted look, and maybe match it if you want it loose.
