@Giles absolutely correct, my brown thumb is evident in everything I say and do.

This orchid, Schomburgkia undulata, is common in my area. They are generally yellow/rust, orange at times and magenta/purple occasionally. This one grows in my backyard.
Exploring closeup pics with my Iphone (thanks to @Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot ’s Iphone info). Took a couple of more detailed pics.

@motojobobo I had to convert your images from .dng to .jpg s the forum SW does not know what a .dng is.
I used this for future reference:
https://picflow.com/convert/dng-to-jpg
Then I cut and pasted the images because in their native .jpg, the files were too large....

@twin I am sorry it's taken me so long to go back to this thread, such beautiful pictures - thank you. Miss you! Hope life is good for you and Bobby x x x

@mclaincausey - can't believe how grown up Hattie is, she is BEAUTIFUL (must take after her Mum, hahahaha). Lovely young lady with lovely flowers - thank you. Sending love back from Guernsey across the oceans to Colorado

-
@Madame-Buttonfly she absolutely got more of mama’s genes thank God

@Madame-Buttonfly So nice to hear from you. We twins are doing well. Remember the twins that gave you that big hug at Shady Maple. They are now 91 years old.

Wow, that's crazy - are they doing well? I'm delighted to hear you twins are both doing great, and hope our paths will cross again before too long

She actually looks a lot like you...

@Madame-Buttonfly The twins are doing well. Still in there own home. Always at Shady Maple for twin Birthdays. We sure have to have a get together soon.
-
Giving Paula / @Madame-Buttonfly some butterfly cheer.

This tree, alcornoque (Tabebuia aurea) is truly spectacular when in full bloom. Flowers only last between 3 and 8 days as it tends to be very windy this time of year.
Couldn’t possibly imagine a better parking spot for my Toyota FJ.

Riding the bike between Cafayate and Salta I was awestruck by this flowerbed right by the road. Appeared to be an abandoned house but these lilies sure looked upbeat.
-
@motojobobo wow those are incredibly beautiful
-
Happy you agree with me @Oaktavia !
Definitely worth slowing down, pulling off the road, U—turning, and getting those pics! -
Good morning @Madame-Buttonfly AkA Paula.
