Dystopian Planet (What Would You Do?)
-
It's the year 2024, and a meteor has just wiped out 95% of the Earth's population but somehow, everyone on this forum survived. With the skills you have now, how would you survive? How would you earn money? How would you feed your family? How would you better the human race? How would you promote or proliferate its existence? What do you bring to the table? What would you do?
…and GO!

Good thread….will reply later.

i would kill most of you bastards & rummage through your rations to figure out what's worth taking for my clan.
i would also form uneasy alliances with . . . . . .

1: build a reinforced fort out of scrap
2: stockpile weaponry
3: start a cult
4: terrorize, rob, and pillage the surrounding countryside. In other words, business as usual

Actually in Mansfield I'm not entirely convinced that we would notice the change in world. What the OP describes is virtually how we live anyway.
Just to play I'll give it some thought though, I'd be sad to lose communications with some of you ha ha ha ha ha

My greatest strength in this situation would probably be my almost total lack of empathy for others. I'm a practical person rather than emotional so what I would do would be really boring probably.

raid local food and medicine stores

I would be a barber and a barman. And a drunk, bald bitch. Surrounded by other drunk, bald bitches.
My gang and I would travel the country trying to uproot left behind stock of good ales and wines… We'd of course visit Gosport, armed, to plunder the IH stock... And bring flowers for Paula, whom we'd rename to The Rose of Gosport... Of course married to The Fishing Beast of Gosport...
