Role Club By Brian the Bootmaker

A pair of brown Role Clubs is quickly moving to the top of my Grail list.
@BrianTheBootmaker what you're doing reminds me a lot of Ryan at WH Ranch (wearing and loving his jeans at the moment). Just a humble guy doing what he is passionate about and making a damn good product at that.
I look forward to owning a pair of your boots in the not so distant future.
Keep it up.

The last image is the one he posted to his Instagram before mailing them to me. I didn't take any unboxing pics, so that's all I have, lol.
So far they're great! I think maybe a measured just a little bit wrong, because they we slightly loose at first try, but I did what I learned in the military and hot water soaked them, and they fit spot on now.

Wow! Those look amazing. The brown horsehide is gorgeous!
THANKS!
I'm seriously considering a black pair next year for my birthday, lol!
I plan to email Brian and suggest making belts, or having belts made of matching leathers for boots ordered. I make due with my current brown belt, but a matching belt would be PHENOMENAL… Especially for persons owning the olive boots he offers

As discussed in the Mister Freedom thread, here are a few shots of my new Role Club Engineers in brown horse. I received them a few weeks ago, but have only managed about a weeks worth of wear because I elected to leave them at home during my stay in the snowy/soggy PNW these last couple weeks.
I can't praise Brian enough for his work. In fact, I love them so much I've already commissioned another pair.
For those considering the Role Clubs, I highly recommend making the trip to Inspiration in LA this year. He'll have a booth where you can touch his work, and receive custom fittings. His shop in LA is great, too, but the draw of Inspiration may be a little easier to justify for travelers.

Great looking boots.
Wonder if he would do them with a wedge sole & shorter, I know it's wrong but it's true I love the wedge

From my communication with him he's a great young man. Humble, knowledgeable & curious and not afraid to ask questions about stuff he's not versed in or to say let me get back to you with an answer. Maybe I'll see to commission something if I get some scratch up & his schedule permits . . . .

@seanocono congrats - those are fantastic - I am particularly drawn to the olive steer hide version. Please keep posting pics as these get more wear.

Thank you, and will do, @Bluegrass.
Yeah, the olive steer hide is really nice. Super-thick leather with great depth and pull up.

Thread is inspiring. Getting some engineer boots Roland of Gilead would rock! Thanks pal!

My second pair of Role Club's are these… A few months ago, I saw some Rolling Dub Trio m-42 service shoes in brown, and they were GORGEOUS... But, I need more brown boots as little as I need more denim. So, I asked Brian if he could make a pair in black. He replied almost immediately, saying that he already has the perfect military boot last, and he'll draw up a pattern. Awesome!!!!! Now, it's all coming to fruition soon.
Black horsehide, brass hardware, medium brown edge and brown cork halfsoles. They're not done yet, but man are they GORGEOUS. He posted this pic a few hours ago on IG and FB.

Oh yeah!
