Oh boy. Feckin people. I'd be enraged.
-
@Giles, that's def a "need to want". Very nice indeed.
@summ3rhays, that's rough and on a positive note, you're a very lucky that there wasn't any damage done to your whip. -
What happens when you give a Belgian a BMW K1600 to play with?
Here's a before and after shot.
More at Bike EXIF and Fred Krugger's Facebook page.

That's wild. I saw the first pic on IG today. That second pic is interesting to see where it came from.

The Wheels and Waves festival looks fun. Next year?

A photo of the new
BatbikeKawasaki Ninja H2 has been leaked. It's probably not the sort of thing that will interest people around here, but it's rumoured to have somewhere between 225 and 275 bhp. More details at Intermot tomorrow. -
Picked up my full motorcycle license today - now starts a long slog of saving up money and trolling craigslist for a decent 80s japanese bike between 500-1000cc and between $1200-2000. The hope is to have something by next spring.

congrats @irishexpat! Good luck hunting

Congratulations @irishexpat - now get yourself a bike!
@Giles you need to sort out your license first!
I'm currently feeling tempted by the BMW R1200RS, which was launched at Intermot today.

The new Ducati Scrambler.

Pretty slick. I like the classic. The green Urban Enduro doesn't have the right feel. Like they are trying to hard to make it off road. I was talking to the dealership today as I picked up my top box. They said it was the perfect time to unload my sport classic as the prices will likely now decrease with the new "retro" inspired offering.
I really like the liquid cooled bimmer. Good thing I can't even think of looking for a long time
@Giles, both those bikes are incredible. It would be a win win to nab either, but I think the first holds a slight edge aesthetically IMHO.
-
I'd agree with @summ3rhays that the first bike is nicer. But either would be worth owning.
Either the RS or the new R are likely to be my next bike. I've owned the outgoing R for the last three years, so no excuses unlike other posters, and the new models seem to be a step up.
And that gives me an excuse to post another photo.
Of course, I could always do something daft and buy the Eau Rouge…
