And a few more. The green sports bike is a Paton S1 Strada, a low-volume machine from Milan built around a modest Kawasaki twin. It was one of my favourites.

Thanks Bluegrass and Dave.
There are a few more pictures on my Instagram feed, which I haven't posted here.
Shame you couldn't make it Dave. As you said, there's always next year.

This is a concept for the upcoming R1200R. Given my association with that bike, it's whetted my appetite…
Unfortunately they always come up with sexy previews, and the reality tends to be less exciting, as the first spyshot of the new model shows…

If you're in London on Sunday, Warr's are having a 90th birthday celebration.

The Sportster Forty Eight is a nice bike, but the bigger Harleys are supposed to be easier to ride and better machines. I'd look at something like a Street Bob.
If you're after something in a similar vein, the BMW R nineT is a more capable road bike, will be more fuel efficient, and looks gorgeous.
Or there's the Moto Guzzi California.

NineT is a sweet bike, but may be impossible to find until the newness wears off.
