Sugar Cane

How about the classic Okinawas at Ushowu 501? They still have them in a 31, raw. Not the same as b_F's but a good deal nonetheless.

Thanks Maynard, am even more tempted with the two other SCs they offer, since they are W 30s. But there are no measurements, and anyway I prefer used ones and ought to keep myself away from spending ATM.
One day a hard used SC for a friendly price will come along, I have a deep gut feeling about that. -
@trail:
which shop would you recommend?
I would recommend www.pants-shop-avenue.com Naoki is a great guy and will sort you out. he also has some of the discontinued models in stock
@501/IH:
Looked yours up, Fergz, they would be too big for me as well, we're probably a similar size. Good luck with the sale.
If anyone happens to see a used Okinawa one (the kind b_F bought from Seul) in a W 30 or 31, I'd be very grateful for any lead!my are not the Okinawas but the Slack Denim (to replicate hand woven denim) ones. SC40601. Okinawa is SC40301

thanks BF!

And one month and 2 hot washes later… loving em!
-
They look so good with that HTC belt. Great look!

After talking to Charlie at History Preservation, I decided to buy a pair of raw Okinawa. I am still a bit concerned over the inseam, but they will only get a cold soak and a drip dry so I think I'll be alright. I originally wanted the Aloha denim, but I was put off by reported sizing discrepancies.

The short sleeve wabash is too good to resist. I just saw pics on IG and had to hit SE
I hear you Summ3r… Super sweet shirt by the look of it. Am going for it myself next wek.. Might also pair it with the short sleeve Dobby you already got. You pics makes it hard to resist!

SC has too much good stuff coming out.
-
What length do you need? My Okinawas were one-wash and the inseam was 34.5.
-
At least a 33.5 but like 34, so it's reassuring to hear that yours were on the longer side. I have read anything from an inseam of 32.5 to 34.

Short sleeve Wabash goodness
-
Man, what a shirt! When I hit SESF in Sept I'm gonna check these out (if still in stock of course).
-
Thanks, it's my first wabash. Pretty excited. 8.5oz seemed just about perfect for this shirt.

Fits
They fit similarly to my MF 64 US but with a slightly looser leg. The denim is very abrasive and stiff, almost like a fresh pair of FlatHeads. They are loaded with details and the construction is excellent. Very pleased so far.

100% perfect. Good call!

100% perfect. Good call!
^This! Solid gold fit there Anesthetist. Will you get them hemmed or continue with the double cuff? FWIW, I'm getting some insane roping fades already on my one-wash 1947s and recommend the single cuff to show this off!
-
Glad the inseam worked out for you.
-
really, really nice fit!
