The short sleeve wabash is too good to resist. I just saw pics on IG and had to hit SE
I hear you Summ3r… Super sweet shirt by the look of it. Am going for it myself next wek.. Might also pair it with the short sleeve Dobby you already got. You pics makes it hard to resist!
-
SC has too much good stuff coming out.
-
What length do you need? My Okinawas were one-wash and the inseam was 34.5.
-
At least a 33.5 but like 34, so it's reassuring to hear that yours were on the longer side. I have read anything from an inseam of 32.5 to 34.

Short sleeve Wabash goodness
-
Man, what a shirt! When I hit SESF in Sept I'm gonna check these out (if still in stock of course).
-
Thanks, it's my first wabash. Pretty excited. 8.5oz seemed just about perfect for this shirt.

Fits
They fit similarly to my MF 64 US but with a slightly looser leg. The denim is very abrasive and stiff, almost like a fresh pair of FlatHeads. They are loaded with details and the construction is excellent. Very pleased so far.
-
100% perfect. Good call!

100% perfect. Good call!
^This! Solid gold fit there Anesthetist. Will you get them hemmed or continue with the double cuff? FWIW, I'm getting some insane roping fades already on my one-wash 1947s and recommend the single cuff to show this off!
-
Glad the inseam worked out for you.
-
really, really nice fit!

really, really nice fit!
super nice shirt too
^^^ This :). Am sure you'll enjoy them. A great contrast from most other denims. Glade the inseams ended up so perfect for you

Thanks guys, it's this cut that is making me ponder getting the 1955 UHR, as long as the rise works.
-
Yeah, that rise does take a while to get used to.
-
can anyone give thoughts/recommend sizing on the cat's paw chinos?
-
^ Yes, I can. I take the same tagged size in my Cat's Paw chinos as my 1947. The cutting is quite nice although the top block bunches up a bit for me as I move, rather than staying closer to the hip. This starts to bug me after a while because it means that the pockets flare out too and it doesn't look very clean. I have recently acquired a pair of Toys McCoys Steve McQueen chinos and they are a vastly superior trouser.
However, the CP are decent for the price. Note that they are made in China. This may or may not be an issue for you.
-
thanks sm! yeah, obviously I would prefer it MIJ but not a deal breaker. Honestly might not get them since it seems like the grey version of the fabric is dryer/rougher than other versions
did you pick the mcqueen in a size 33? I need a 32" waist and it seems like they run very small…
