Viberg

Thanks davito, actually the pain was not on my toes but on the sole of the foot(i might need a provisional thin sole). On the other hand, the leather on the vamp already began to form around my feet, loving the hh properties!
concret: those are very nice! loving the toe box. making me want a pair of engineers myself…
Thanks man, that toe box was what pulled me to buy this pair on the first place.
Hey Rafa, dainite sole is not a bad idea.

@SimonQ.:
shame on viberg for making something like this..
imo they aren´t THAT bad…just the sole and the extra 90USD for a resole is holding me back! leather combo is quite interesting imo!
Hey Rafa, those boots look pretty sweet and a dainite sole is not a bad idea at all. I might been biased with the rough out, just can't resit it
still need a pair of roughout vibergs…if not these then hopefully round 4 is bringing some more heat to the tables!...

Good luck with round 4(?) guys, in the meantime here are some fit pics of my new hh engineers. Today i had them on for the first time, the whole day. My feet were killing me at the end of the day, but nothing could erase the grin off my face.
those are gorgeous

Bunch of noob questions here: I'm completely new to Viberg and only rarely wear boots, being more of a sneaker guy. I came across pictures of these recently and thought they looked pretty cool:
Just wondering, are vibergs brutal on the feet? How much would a pair of these set me back and do I have to order them through Viberg's custom boot website? Also sizing… seems that custom sizing a boot and buying it without trying it on first is going to be problematic. I'd be grateful for anyone with useful info. to share. Cheers!

Just wondering, are vibergs brutal on the feet? No, they're really nice, actually, especially for boots.
How much would a pair of these set me back and do I have to order them through Viberg's custom boot website? Probably $700ish, and you may not have to, but it's probably easiest to order directly. You can call and talk to them or email Morgan (inquiries@workboot.com or morgan@worboot.com) to ask specific questions.
Also sizing… seems that custom sizing a boot and buying it without trying it on first is going to be problematic. I'd be grateful for anyone with useful info to share. Cheers! If you know your size in UK sizing, that should work just fine. However, you can also use Viberg's sizing kit (available as a .pdf file) to trace and measure your feet. Viberg will use that info to determine the correct size for you. I would highly recommend this option, as it doesn't add much time to the order process and will save you a ton of frustration and money over getting it wrong. When in doubt, ask the experts.
For what it's worth, I'm consistently a size 11D (US) in athletic shoes and wear a size 10D in both White's and Viberg boots. Other people will have different experiences, which will be confusing. That's why you should do the sizing kit.

Rafa, those are ugly. Don't buy; you're just going to flip them down the road.

Alden x Self Edge x Leather Soul x Iron Heart & Viberg Scout Boot
Pulled em out to take shots since I am selling them. Might end up keeping the Scout Boot though. The more I look at it, the more I like it.
It's just so heavy duty and durable. The boot feels invincible.

2 more rounds between sizes 8 & 9, game one!
@guyferguson:
There wil be at least 5 rounds in total. At this point most of what is left is within the Size 8-9 range. I definitely wouldn't count on finding exactly what you are looking for, but there are some great pairs coming up from our last trade show in Berlin. I'm aiming for round 4 on Monday, but i'll confirm that at some point this weekend.

what did y'all go for?
I hesitated on these, so I'm not sure if I'll get them.
