Tod, thanks for the info mate. I guess there is always the black shell cordovan (more expensive) or CXL. Nickel eyelets look good as well (talking for me that is). Still mate, they look great regardless. Still a great score. But I understand, you pay every penny for them, it's good to know your getting what you ask for.
Yeah, I'd be totally happy if it wasn't for the heel slip I am experiencing. Still trying to decide if I can tolerate it, which I want to, especially since this may be my last chance at a pair of HH's. But it's possible these will go on the auction block. (Size 10, BTW…)

Bummer! I'm 9 in 110 and 2045. Yeah, I get heal slip in my 110 as well. But not as noticeable with thick socks. 2045 has no heal slip for and perfect up front (about the same as 110).
Btw, here's a sneak peak at my two pairs inbound soon. Size 9 Whiskey Scotch Grain Cavalier and Brown Wax Flesh. Can't wait!!

I had a two tone pair in 2045 that I sold. They were just a half size too big. Apart from that 2045 is for me

Hey Rafa! Yeah, I think if you compare the heel on your 310s with your other Vibergs it will be a good 1/4" or so higher (more like a White's heel, whereas the 2045s and 2030s are lower). I could never quite roll with the higher heel, but am wondering if I got a pair with one of the leather flats out if it would mess up the balance…
what's that about higher and lower heel tod?
i have the 310 last with the "standard" dainite sole/heel as on all of my other 3 pairs… -
Right on. Also, you can see the difference I think in the pics you posted back in September of the two new HH boots at VMC, one on 310 and one on 2045, with differing heel heights… (Though I don't know, maybe the heels aren't as different in real height as I am thinking, and it's a matter of perspective and feel, based on last shape...)
let me get home in the evening so i can check…really would be new to me tbh.
