The Black Oil Tan is a good strong leather we use on our work boots. It's produced by Seidel Tanning Corp. in Milwaukee, WI. I'll be including a batch of leather samples for Giles' review along witht the order that's nearing completion. Stay tuned!

The Black Oil Tan leather is very nice. The CXL on my boots have had a few applications of LP, but I've only added it to the black once. Tough, but butter soft.

If i wear a size 9.5 US in Red Wing Chukkas, what size will i be in a 2030 Last?
Thanksi would say a 9.5 in vibergs using viberg sizing.
-
haha i wear an 8.5 in both so no clue. i imagine i could possibly wear an 8 viberg, but i think it would be tight. my 8.5 vibergs fit pretty much perfect. i could wear a 9 in red wing chukkas as my 8.5 can feel a little tight at times.
the best comparison of my 2030 vibergs would be about the same fit as alden barrie last. -
^shit is crazy when it comes to sizing. imo there's no "general rule" at all, since everybody tells you a different story…G and others tell to size down or go with the same size, Mumbles and myself say to go with the same "number" (which would be one up from your US size)...so yeah, in the end, you really have to try on your own.
i know not much of a help, but that's the case when trying to find your true viberg size imo...
