Viberg

i can't remember, are you in la? i've got to find a place to try on some vibergs to get sizing down
-
damn, that's awesome that you can try them on. I've looked and I'm surprised i can't really find any viberg stockists in la.
-
I know feet are different GMB, but aren't you a 9.5 in Lofgrens? I would hazard a guess you're an 8.5 in Viberg.

I tried a 9 in lofgrens that went on in half a second and I felt my foot "snap" into the boot and they were super comfy, and I tried on the 8.5 where I couldn't even get my smaller foot through the shaft.
So you went one full size down from lofgrens?
-
I'm 9.5 in most US shoes, and could probably be fine in a 9 Lofgren–I have a nice thick gel insole in there and it's pretty snug that way. Might be able to do an 8 Viberg, but 8.5 works great.

Bummer! Why are you selling them? Fit didn't work?
Fit's perfect and they are beautiful, but I don't need 5 pairs of Viberg. I bought all those Viberg partly to understand the fits etc. Now I look after Wesco's interests in Europe, I need to do the same with Wesco, so my Vibergs will be moved on…
-
Fwiw if you have a normal feet , no high instep and extra wide foot, sizing down 1 from your normal US size would be fine.
I you're a normal 9US then 8 in viberg and 8.5 would be fine put into consideration how thick the socks you're going to wear. Better a bit big rather than too small. But if you're considering only on engineer boot, to
my experience how high your instep is the most important factor.Just my 2cents worth

Makes sense. They are beautiful.

Yeah, I think that the reason why I did the 9 easy in lofgren even though I'm a true 9.5 on a brannock is that the arch on my foot isn't high at all, making it very easy to get through the shaft.
-
I am also a 9.5D Brannock but I have fairly high arches.

I bought from the last run of Viberg Shinki horsehide engineer boots on 12/23/2013. They were $910.00 + $25.00 shipping. Well worth it for the quality of these boots.
Merry belated Christmas to you sir!

I'm sure this has been answered before but if I wear a 7.5 in Alden Indys with room for thick socks. What would I wear in Viberg? Looks like they are having a sample sale Monday and I want to figure out my size.
G told me I'd be a size 7 in the Wild Ones and he seems to know Viberg sizing well.
