Have you had issues with Cone denim? I have had no issues with my two pair of SF01s or my original Ducks.
-
I think there's a very common misconception that Roy uses "just Cone denim" but it's not the same Cone that boring new Kickstarter brands are using. Having two pairs that use different versions of Roy's "just Cone denim" in the KS1001 and RT1002, I can say it's more interesting than a lot of other denim out there once you put some wear into it.

I wouldn't say I have an issue with Cone. I just have like 4 pairs of jeans made from Cone. Even though none of them are the same denim my experience has been they all have similar fading characteristics. Mainly heavy vertical fading. Again, not a complaint just a denim trait I have plenty of and have no need for more of.

@summ3rhays were your ROYs hemmed by Self Edge, if at all?
-
Yes they were hemmed at SE. @goodrain
-
What does he use instead of the 43200G Goodrain?
-
according to this article he now uses the Singer 105 Class

Bam! One of the best aspects of the modern world. Ordered, hemmed and delivered in less than 3 days.
Soaking these bad boys this weekend. I went with a 34. My KS1001 are 33 and a touch tight. Plus the denim is heavier although still summer weight at 14,5.
The shine, color and feel of the cone is so different than IH. Even before the soak it looks really hairy.

Thanks @Bluegrass!
Time for a second soak! Holy starch Batman.
-
Still quite crisp. I dig the leg twist.
-
those looks sharp @summ3rhays ! What boots BTW? Boss?
-
@Jordan23 - Thanks!

I read over at denimbro that Roy is no longer selling through SE and is going to start selling direct. Has anyone else heard this?
