I've never had an Arc lock but the Benchmade Axis lock seems to be very similar. If you definitely don't want anything but that type of lock then I can definitely recommend the Benchmade

Been looking for a slim knife to carry and for whatever reason I became interested in these knives tonight….
http://www.britishblades.com/forums/showthread.php?94750-Higonokami-knife-by-Ichiro-Hattori
Could not find one made by this Hattori-San guy (for a good price anyway) so I ended up buying one of these off of ebay made by Nagao Kanekoma company
-
Yea, that seriously looks dangerous!
-
Damn it… 186 $... I'm massively tempted
I was tempted by this also and I'm sure that Hattori-san's knives are top quality and excellent craftsmanship….. I'm not really too experienced with knives, especially ones you have to clean and take care of. So I got that one on ebay for about 25$. Still handmade by some Japanese guy and will work for it's intended use of cutting stuff/being in my pocket.

^^^Seul I couldn't resist. I ordered the Higonokami by Ichiro Hattori this morning. I should have it mid next week. This knife blew me away!

Just from what I've read on the internet (which is not much) people make it seem like you must clean these knives and take care of them or they will rust or get damaged…. I will put mine to the test!
Seul, Here is the one I bought and there are many options on ebay if you search 'Higonokami'
