@el:
I had a similar pre soak fit in my 666uhr. I put them through the machine at 40 and wore them while damp. We didn't get on with each other very well for the first week or so but I reckon they're a perfect fit now.
Not looking forward to the next wash, though. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Thats another daunting thought LOL
@giles what do you think of my predicament? what would you do, stick with this size or size up one?
-
@skaterpunk437 Giles confirmed that these will stretch back to the pre-soak waist, so if you like the fit now and don't mind a little punishment go with the size you have now. If you feel that the pre-soak waist is already too snug and you don't mind a more relaxed fit throughout then return and size up. It's really a question of your own personal preference.

OK thanks and sorry for beating a dead horse i decided to size up as they are just barely comfortable pre-soak and the other measurements are neglegibly larger. I appreciate all the help and apologize for taking up so much of the thread. I will update photos and compare once 34s come in.

@skaterpunk437 no worries, in my experience unsanforized denim is always kind of a crap shoot even if you can try them on in the store, if you don't have any experience with how the denim behaves. But the character and feel of unsanforized is totally worth the risk IMO. And even sanforized denim that fits perfectly when you first put them on can stretch too much, hence people sizing down, etc. It's all kind of a gamble.

I agree 100% and now I know lol unfortunately I have to wait longer to wear them now [emoji31] but that's ok, at least now i know what I have to look forward to this denim I's effing seriously amazing it's so stiff and crispy but so smooth and soft on the hand. I don't know if I'm wording that proper but point is A+ denim .

yes i was terrified to get hemmed and luckily i did not especially with inseam shrinkage i just could not gamble with it plus i have self edge and blue in green within blocks of where i work so chain stitching if easily accessible. how much did you take off? and did you figure for 2" of shrinkage?

No fit pics, I'll try to grab some tomorrow. I didn't take any pre/post soak measurements, so I can't really help there either (my bad, I've been busy as hell for the past few days and it honestly slipped my mind until they were already in the tub and it was too late). I went with the same tag size (36) as my 634S. I tried these on this morning while they were still a tad damp in spots, they fit quite snug but good enough IMO, so I just wore them to work. Finally got the top button… eh... buttoned at around 15:00 today, and they seem like they will end up a pretty great fit for me, which is awesome since these are my first BB's and I wasn't sure what to expect.

Just got these bad guys in today and man are they stiff I was not expecting them to be as difficult as they were to put on and especially button afraid to soak them lol thinking if I should have sized up or what they fit good now pre soak and the waist is good but it feels snug I'm thinking more from the stiffness of the material thoughts before the soak?
