The Strike Gold

I bet that if you hit them really hard with a hot soak for a long time you could probably get them down to size.

im not super familiar with SG denim to know how much it will shrink but I would agree with MikeC's comment here. Of course it is all a matter of opinion, if you like… rock it homie.
-
The LHT doesn't shrink a lot.

Yours may not be the LHT denim…

I love mine–enjoy! They will wear in very nicely.

mclain, how much did you lose on the inseam of your 3105s after the hot soak? I gather these don't shrink much after a soak - did they feel much different around the waist? thanks
-
These really don't shrink excessively. I may have lost 3/4" from the waist on a hot soak for a half hour. I am guessing maybe 1-1.5" on the inseam but less sure of that; I hemmed them so I wasn't paying much attention. I have a 30" inseam and they start at 37" so you may get some idea by looking at the cuff on my post soak fit pic on this thread. Hope that helps. I love the jeans. Love the cut, love the denim, and its potential is just starting to show.

Thanks mclain, yes that is helpful. I bought a pair a few days ago but haven't been in a position to do the soak and start wearing them yet. I had the 1105s as my first raw denim a couple of years ago.

Nice man. The 05 cut is my favorite cut I've tried. 3105 was my first loomstate jean, bought in July. The denim is just starting to show its fading potential. I'm seeing streakiness and some electric blues, no washes, two hot soaks. Indigo's a bit more stubborn than I expected but the contrast is going to be outstanding and I do like that it doesn't crock all over my furniture.

Dat mud dyed weft…. those have been on my radar for a while...
