IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered
-
Just to add more confusion, I wear 33 in the BB, the 666S and the 634S…..
Thanks for lobbing that grenade in there Giles. I had settled on the 30s, then the 31s, then the 30s and now I'm getting the measuring tape out and doing what i should have done in the first place!
congrats on your purchase Fergz its a nice pair of jeans.
LOL I am a 30 in everything and in the devils I took 29 really tight in thighs but I love 'em, waist is already back to a 30and wow Mr Nietenhosen, your pair is just awesome, hope mine will be like that say in a million years…really nice

@501/IH:
Some real suspense building up. I trust you'll tell us not only how you decided, but how the fit is (Pics…) !
How i decided?
My 33 666S now measure 34…..
I'll save Giles typing that for the zillionth time! Hopefully i'll take up that baton and can say "my 30 666S now measure 31"
-
Really beats me how you managed, Davito. As explained before, a 30 666 -my standard size in the 634- was positively impossible to button up. And from the 31 the (always great and utterly knowledgeable) crew at DC4 warned me profusely, and I must admit, they did not look good, though normally I'd say there is no such thing as a jeans that fits TOO tight.
Only sensible explanation is that my "body proportion" is different. It increases my determination that my eventual (hopefully…) 666 will be a used one, with measurements carefully compared and considered.
Wish you lots of luck, Fergz, and am looking forward to reports as in a true cliffhanger.

Thanks for the interest guys!
Hey, Davito, what was the process of squeezing into the 29s like? Was it a case of calloused fingers, grunting, pulling, grimacing and eventually buttoning them up post soak or how did it go? Hot soak or cold? This may prove to be useful information in a few days!
-
You could always wear them for the soak or put a piece of wood in the waist (cut to size, of course).
Good advice.
If i can button them up I'll be fine i reckon. Soaking while wearing is a good idea too. All will be revealed!

Hello fans
I usually wear in all my IH's size 30 and in this case I sized down to 29 ;). a 30 would have been probably fair enough to my friends downunder ;).
Waist is OK, thighs are still hugged but I think they should come along nicely with a bit of stretch
two pix from the elevator LOL.
good nite everybody

Hi 501 and Fergz this is one of my fits, hot soaked once. Essential in these pants are the thighs (they will shrink horizontally in the thighs area around 2% as well in the hot soak). waist will stretch pretty easy after wearing. Probably my ideal size would have been a 30 but I kinda like this rockstar look anyway However, for my liking I do not like pants to size up in waist just to get the thighs right.
I am kinda slim 173 cm and around 62kg, so I can take 29 with a bit of suffering at the beginning. But as you know I have a lot of jeans and too less legs so these beauties are not a lot on my body although I wish they would. mmmh maybe I should take them out of the cupboard right now

Hi Fergz, it was not really a squeezing, fingers were OK, just the thighs hugged a bit more after a 30min warm soak. I buttoned them fully up post soak when dried, but hei thats my body shape, everybody's different. Of course I had to sag a bit to stretch the waist out a little after the soak but I believe this jeans can take that since it is IH :). I think you will be OK with your size 30 if your thighs are OK and you usually wear a 30 in IH. The jeans are beautiful. Have fun with it

Today went to one of our parks to have a nice walk together with other dogs
robbed bit in the mud together with crazy Jessy
see the bird in the middle of the pic, tried to catch fish but flew away afterwards
have a nice day
some other pics, hope this helps you Fergz
I do also wear my SG1105, which is unsanforised too, in a 29 and I kinda love to have these slim fits in my house. Flatheads I take in 30.

Thanks for the info and beautiful pics, Davito.
Totally like your fit of the 666s
And the numbers you mention are, to put it mildly and printable, humbling. How could I grow so damn fat?

So the wonderful UPS guy called around with an eagerly anticipated package today. The beauty of living across the pond from Giles is that it only takes three working days for the goods to get here. After much fretting and wondering about sizes (Davito and 501/IH know what i mean!) these beauties dropped.
The good news? Size 30 is perfect!
The bad news? They're soaking as we speak and i have to wait until they dry before i can break the sons-a-bitches in.
The denim is a thing of beauty. Different jean to my 634s-RAWs entirely. Thighs nice and snug but not blocking off the blood supply. As the product page says they're super slim not super skinny. Not super tight. In short i'm supremely delighted with them and can't wait to get 'em out in the open!
Davito, 501/IH thanks for your feedback again guys
Here's a few quick pre-soak snaps for anyone who's interested:
