IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered

I'm not the type to say I told you so but…well, actually I am. Those look great! In my opinion a size down is just asking for trouble. If you think they're getting a little loose then just turn them inside out and give them a hot wash (without detergent if they're not dirty). I'm sure they'll shrink more; I don't have experience with this particular denim, but after a wash all unsanforized denim I've had has shrunk noticeably more than just by a soak. I think you'll be happy if you do that.
Also- make sure they're dry before you wear them. I know it's tempting to put them on as soon as possible but denim stretches out way easier/faster when it's wet.

JerUsidae, I'll just echo what others have said. I don't own any 18 oz denim (555-01 only so far) and I was sceptical that they would work for you after a soak, but they look great in your pictures.

Well, I gave these a week, and they are absolutely way too loose. I can pull them down over my ass when not wearing a belt. They have been soaked twice so any additional shrinkage won't be enough for me to be truly happy. They will be getting sold Hopefully I will size right next time.

Desperate to get back in a pair of IH's I decided to cram myself in my w31 666s from the batch that had really long inseam and a waist a bit larger than usual. The waist was perfect but the thighs were suffocating. SO…. After wrestling myself into them me decides to hop in the shower and let em soak down; afterwards, got out and slowly did lunges around the house for nearly an hour, going up and down the steps... Long story short it worked, painful, but worked... The Denim Struggle.
I need some new pants , these will never be washed again :p

Follow the thigh measurement in the 666

You can always fix a waist with a belt. The thigh measurement is whats tricky on the 666

can always put on a belt if to big or just wear & stretch if waist is tight. if the thighs are tight you are pretty much f^cked . . . unless you are into tight thigh jeans or have a way to stretch them out. if you have a way to stretch thighs let me know cause i got a pair here that fit great every where BUT the thighs & i would really like to wear them. . .

You can stretch thighs by getting the jeans soaked and then jamming towels down into the leg holes just progressively working them in a little more at a time allowing it to stretch. I've done it with thighs and leg openings. Just take your time. Also, it's probably best to never wash if you do this cause it's a real pain to try to get it back exactly how it was

Joining the ranks soon as I am closing a trade to get a pair of 666S. My first IH venture in non-signature denim bottoms. Looking foward to posting some fit pics.
